Chuck DeGroat is a QUACK. Yes, a QUACK. He is a promoter a discredited, occult 'system' of describing personality, the Enneagram. The Enneagram traces to the Central Asian occultist, highly narcissistic, highly abusive cult leader G. I. Gurdjieff. Another occultist, Oscar Ichazo, connected the enneagram to personality. He claimed that he got this information from the Archangel Metatron while high on Mescaline. His student, and an avowed occultist and psychiatrist, Claudio Naranjo, actually developed the 9 personality types. The Enneagram personality typing lacks reliability. It is not accepted by mainstream psychology , Chuck DeGroat is considered uncitable in academic circles--and for good reason.

Hold on a sec...perhaps one of the things encouraging narcissism in the church are the self reflecting, self psychologizing, self judging, pagan developed, personality tests like the Enneagram.

Humility is important, leaders who think they know how others feel but in fact don’t really know, is prideful. Spiritual abuse is truly being exposed more & TOV leaders need to keep up this Holy Ghost exposure heat!

Thank you for this podcast. I’ve been following Fr Kenneth for a couple of years on social and I appreciate his journey and wise perspectives. Several years ago I was introduced the idea of contemplating and embracing more of Jesus’ humanity. The Lord has used Fr Kenneth to continue my learning in that vein. Y’all have some great questions. Thank you again! I hope to check out your other podcasts.

One of the most helpful interviews I've yet encountered on this subject. A thought: I’m wondering there is any evidence that “nous” (Grk. “mind”) is right brain as well as left brain - which would make metanoia (repentance) a change of right brain mind as much as a change of left brain mind. But that needs evidential support not just one’s wishful thinking.

Wow. This was so good, fellas. My deck was cleared 4 years ago…and I agree wholeheartedly that I met with God in powerful ways in the following few years that were also hellish in many ways. Thank you for sharing your stories, to encourage folks like me to stay close to Jesus, fight for character, and allow the Lord to lead us through the valleys. Appreciate y’all.

Good job guys. I’m enjoying the podcasts-one little tidbit of coaching. Andrew, you tend to interject with your yes yes comments too much. It’s a little distracting. Just let the guest continue with their train of thought, and then maybe interject less often

I love how you touched on Paul’s thorn. I can see how, while your gift may become a weaknesses, if you know you have a thorn, what a strength it becomes. I know I have a thorn and I sometimes find myself trying to work around it. Doing so, puts me in that place of having my gift become my weakness.
