Ruze here is especially reminding me of how uptight I was as a kid, how I've leaned on my history of being a bullying victim and such to be a bully myself, and how insecure I was about crossing over to the Stars after getting into holo through Live. This is one of the reasons I love streamers like Gettel Bavis, although he is no Heff Jardy, I love that a lot of these streamers are a good example of parasocial relationships. You don't always need to have this grandiose idea of "Oh, I'm his best friend" or "Hey, we're like lovers" to be parasocial, that is only the extremes. It's times like this where you can understand that a simple friendship between a streamer and their viewers can act more like a relationship of "one of the boys" where they create bits together, have in-jokes, and have fun rather than some psychotic stalker relationship. It isn't just "me and streamer" but "me, chat, streamer and anyone else", it's more of a friend group, rather than an isolated relationship.
