Ulin Sera,
This video gives an impression how Sera (and the later developed Serak) was being practiced in Banten, Jakarta, Bogor and other parts of West-Java. In the 1960's variations of Sera were brought from Indonesia to the Netherlands by fourth and fifth generation practitioners such as Theo Schrijn, Paul Merling-Meijer, Maarschenveen, John de Vries, Ernest de Vries and many others. This video shows fifth generation practitioners Maurice de Thouars, Paul de Thouars and Dolf de Vries. The jurus variations at the end of the video show the influences from Terumbu, Bandrong, Cimande and older arts. Variations of the Alipan, Jurus Alip and others can still be found in silat from Banten, West-Java, Jakarta, Kalimantan and Sumatra.
