Some non-spoiler info about the ovas: The order is Memory Snow first, then Frozen bonds. Each one takes place between S1 mansion arc (after the mabeasts forest incident) and before the royal election. They're about one hour long, first one is just mostly fun slice of life, a fun "filler" time with the main group, second Ova follows up with a flashback. Neither one is necessary to understand the main story, they're just a bonus, but they still have juicy stuff and honestly they just help the overal story even more.

I think you should watched the two OVA's before continuing with Season 2

I don't recall if I or someone else mentioned this to you, but there are 2 OVA's you should watch between Season 1 and Season 2. The first one is Memory Snow (it might be grouped under the directors cut as Re:Zero EX in-between episodes 6 and 7 (chronologically it takes place between Arc 2 and 3)) and while it's cannon, if you're looking to skip one of the OVA's, this is the one to skip, though it's definitely still a good watch if you want to watch it. The other OVA is The Frozen Bond, which is an Emilia focused prequel to the series (though a very small part of it takes place after Memory Snow). This one is very relevant to Season 2, so I highly encourage you to watch this one. Just wanted to make sure that you were aware of these.

btw ep 23 cut a lot of content about felix. when the explosion first happend he straight up died but since water magic is able to manipulate life and Felix is the best water magic user in the country he brought himself back to life hence the different clothes. Second at the end when subaru asked him to do something about his possession he used water magic to boil all of the water in his body and the novel said it was excruciating. and Subaru felt it the entrie time too.

Also, as I novel reader I must say. Subaru’s and Rem’s relationship is quite toxic because of Subaru’s circumstances. Rem’s biggest flaw is her self-sacrifical tendencies. Her lack of self worth manifested itself as tendency of sacrificing herself for others. Before Rem met with Subaru she was living her life as a replacement for Ram. With Subaru now in picture, Rem harbors the same feeling towards Subaru as well. Remember all these failed loops in arc 3. In every loop, what broke Subaru the most was seeing Rem die before him. Rem’s self-sacrificial tendencies actually hurt Subaru more then she could ever imagine. Although it’s definitely nit her fault. Subaru’s circumstances are different. As for the “I love Emilia” moment, even though you might find it pretty cruel but it was the perfect answer Subaru could ever give to Rem. Rem also was happy to hear this because it meant she succeeded at bringing back the The Hero Subaru she fell in love with. She knew if Rem accepted Subaru proposal and run away with him, she would leave the Subaru she loved the most.

Nah man, he had to say it _especially because_ of the first part of the conversation. That was him giving up and wanting to take the easy way out by eloping with the first girl who's attracted to him. That's why Rem shut him down. She's already made peace with the fact that she won't be his first priority and by reasserting his love for Emilia he's giving her the assurance that he's still the way why she fell for him.

It seems that flugel is also an isekai character . So don't forget the name "FLUGEL" , according to William, few centuries ago , Flugel was a great Wiseman and planted flugel tree 3)Upto ep 19 , 3 isekai characters , Subaru , AL (helmet guy) and Flugel

One of the minor and at the same time major translation mistake is In ep 17 , there mentioned "during the subjection of white whale, it killed the first swordsman " But originally it was "DURING THE PREVIOUS SUBJECTION OF WHITE WHALE , it killed the FORMER SWORD SAINT " , Small info about sword saint , 1) In ep 8 , it revealed that the first sword saint involved in sealing of satella . 2) In ep 3 ,it revealed Reinhardt Van Astrea is current sword saint 3) In this ep 17 , it revealed the former sword saint before Reinhardt, died during previous subjection of white whale 4) Since first sword saint from house astrea , The descendants of house astrea possess "Sword saint title". by the "divine protection of sword saint " also also qualify to shelter the "dragon sword "

1 very minor correction I want to note. The white whale didn't kill the first sword saint (translated as master swordsman in your subs), but it killed the last sword saint. Slight difference since there were more sword saints in the past. Well, something else is that there's only 1 sword saint at a time, whereas master swordsman seems to imply that it's granted upon reaching a certain level of skill, but really the title is a divine blessing that is for some reason, genetically heritable (there are many speculations on why this is). Anyways, thought I'd clarify that a bit, since I think the translation missed the mark slightly there. Great video as always.
