ambition is such a broken domain when you think about it. it encompasses everything, from the mightiest demon prince to the gods who seek a higher standing, to even the smallest little sprout vying for a place closer to the sun. ambition is quite literally everything.

the problem on doing it this way is that you don't get the hair for +1 on the stat you want. If you want to make sure she doesn't flee, you can actually cast arcane lock into the stairs and she will just spend the rest of her turns trying to go down without being able. No rng reliant, 100% accurrate, no risk. But again, you don't get the hair, that is the most important part of the hag fight anyway.

There is a very good chance gale winds up with absolutely no followers because the people who follow him want to circumvent him or steal his position. I just imagine the god of ambition being a position that changed hands relatively frequently compared to the others.

This was one of the most shocking betrayals in the games for me. Yet the more I look back at certain dialogues, the more I realized that this guy was fully trying to use you. He kept saying that MY power was protecting you without MY power.You'd be dead.

to bad for Minthie, if the player choosed to follow Bhaal, she'll die before having a chance to become part of the family. The Dark Urge Bhaal ending is really terrible, I don't think I can go with it when i'll finally finish my evil durge playtrougth.

Its only evil in the sense that you're taking away people's freedom to choose to worship, but gods are cringe so its ok imo. Gale is a possessive kind of guy because of mystra but otherwise he has the best intentions in everything he does. I don't think he has it in him to be a dictator outside of religion and maybe being the new authority on who has access to magic.
