Boring exteriors.

This leisure venture project is a dud, especially for a golf course. Initially a bag drop- which should be the first place a golfer would go to drop his golf bag before parking his car- does not exist. One has to go past the driveway to the reception & drive to the rear to drop his bag in the caddy house, then drive back to the parking lot (or the driver would drive back his employer back to the lobby driveway). After registering at a make-shift table where the promo people who share the same table, we went straight to a fully open-sided dining area; but this area which allows ample breeze to pass thru is a no-smoking area. There are only 2 tables for smoking golfers- with an incompetent ash tray that spews the ashes all over the table. Since my family & I decided to sit on separate tables due to the no-smoking rule, our orders took over 20minutes to be served by badly-trained waiters & waitresses. So I cramped 10mins to finish my much-delayed omellet to make the 9:40am flight tee-off. when the bill came, after I was told that my order has to be taken care of by SAGA, which I am a director, my wife had to pay for what I have ordered. What a confused lot. The biggest handicap of players in a newly-opened golf course are ill-equipped caddies, who can't even differentiate a 9-iron from a 6-iron. They even prioritize raking the bunkers rather than assist their players on the green before they re-make the bunkers. These badly-trained caddies- who are required to be paid P450/round of about 4-5hours- can't even tell the golfers where the directional breaks of a ball from a particular spot to the hole on the putting green. They can't even answer with conviction whether the green is fast or slow, or more importantly how fast or how slow for experienced golfers. & they also have arrogant caddies who boasts of an Ayala guy whom she says runs the marathon & never even used a golf car in this 67.5 slope rated golf course (70 is a much better rating by the USGA). When asked how the Ayala guy (could have been named Hermosura as mentioned by the caddy) played the course, she said they did it par-birdie on their inauguration day. This Ayala guy must have been a ex-PGA tour golfer with a scratch course handicap of 9under. When these caddy said the next round we play at Anvaya ought to be a better one, I told her we wont ever come back to this place at all, even if the shares are given away for free. When we asked where Pawikan is located, the staff said we can take the shuttle to Pawikan if we didnt have a car. Maybe she thought we commuted from Manila to Anvaya with all our golf gears. At Pawikan, where food was served to the tournament participants, pitchers of cold water can not be left by the waiters on our table because they said they are not allowed to do so! What an indifferent ruling on the part of management. This is a snooty golf club run by ignorant people. Society of Architect Golfers & Associates played the first of its monthly golf tournament at Anvaya 13 January 2014. We hope the next one will simply be in Manila.

Anvaya cove is near to SBMA which has existing golf coarse, why do you need to destroy the true beauty of my place, what will happen to our animals and birds, they will be gone due to the noise the human makes..this is not a natural,, this is a man made that will destroy the beauty of our mountain, it is like a cancer that will eat the remaining farm land......your are already rich people, please don't destroy our farm land.
