HOW MUCH DID I MAKE WITH MY TRACTOR JOB?
tractor is way too big for the driveway you have. case of over buying. why do people do that.?.
Agreed. But I didn’t buy it to plow my driveway. I bought it because I do work for other people. If you check out some of our video I show that. Thanks for watching and Merry Christmas.
Seasons greetings to you and your family. Hope that your wife feels better soon.
Thank you so much! God bless you and your family. Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas 🌲 Hope your wife is feeling well real soon. Great job on the snow cleaning
Hi Gary. Thanks for the kind words and for supporting our channel!
I hope your wife feels better. All my thoughts and prayers will be with her.❤️
Thank you Dean. God bless you and your family.
Merry Christmas to you I have the same tractor that you do. I have the cab and heat I love it. I enjoy watching your videos. Great job.❤️
Hi Dean. You’re so right. The cab is great! Thanks for watching!
@ no problem I love my tractor with the cab that’s for sure I would always have a cab excellent job
@ thank you my friend
@ no problem ❤️
It's a whole lot more efficient if you plow it before you drive all over it! 😏
Hi Chris. You are so right! It just doesn’t work out that way too often. Thanks for watching our channel!
8000 miles and full synthetic in my F350 gas and Explorer. Tractor is regular oil every fall.
Thanks for the info. How often do you change the oil in your tractor? Thanks for supporting our channel?
@TractorsAndLife every fall using regular oil for the tractor.
Have thought about connecting the concrete pad with your driveway? John
Hi John. Yes I sure have. I’ve only had the barn for about a year and that’s something I hope to address this summer. Thanks for supporting our channel!
living in western New York why isn't your barn insulated and the eves closed up on your pole barn?
Hi Kevin...I wish! I've only had the barn for about a year - we have a whole series (Playlist) showing it being built on the channel. Someday I hope to insulate. Thanks for watching and supporting our channel!
Ordered a paint marker. That will come in handy next spring.
Great! Thanks for watching and supporting our channel!
Great Video!! Your left rear Amber light seems to be out. Just a heads up.
Hi Greg. Really? Good catch. I guess I have something to fix now! Thanks for the kind words and for supporting our channel!
Companies that excel in after sales service are worth supporting. If they are local to where you live, it's an added bonus to support your neighbours. Cheers
Hi Barry. I agree. So often folks are really quick to complain or say negative things. We need to celebrate those that actually do what is right. Thanks for supporting our channel!
You could have done a better, quicker job with a $400.00 Toro snow blower.
Tim you may be right, certainly as far as the snow, but I doubt it would have broke up the ice. THanks for supporting our channel!
HAHA. NOT. And even if that were true. Not the same as being in a nice heated cab with the ammenties! Nothin Runs Like a Deere!!
You got me!!! lol
Hey Kevin, glad to see that stone worked out for you it’s neat seeing the finished product. Looks good and I love the TH-cam channel. Thanks for your business (Nick from N.E.Bretherton soil and stone) the guy that delivered the stone.
Hi Nick! Thanks for the kind words. You can be sure I'll be contacting you for some more product in the Spring. Happy holidays and thanks for supporting our channel!
For leaves I use a Cyclone Rake on my 1025R; dump them on the paths in the wooded perimeter of our property. Deere 60" plow for snow, bucket for gardens. I mow a couple of acres with the Deere 54" belly mower. Like you, I enjoy the leaf vacuum of the fall, and the snow plow in the winter. Truth be told I like all the tasks using the tractor. Just found your channel. Enjoyed the drone footage. I had a drone a few yrs ago-not a very sophisticated unit; was difficult to keep it in view when I got it too close to our 40ft high trees at our property's perimeter. It also had a Home feature which saved me a couple of times- which was my fault as I was learning to master controlling it, but it had a short battery fly time. But it was fun using it. Subscribed. Cheers
Hi Barry and thank you for the comment. I have to tell you, I sure do miss my 1025R. Loved how it could get into small spaces and the tight turning radius. I'm like you, I love just being on the tractor and candidly, will look for an excuse - even make up a job - just to get some seat time. As for the Drone, its a work in progress. Mine is not the best either and honestly, its a pain in the neck to operate. Im thinking that if I want to use it for the channel, Im going to need to upgrade. Thank you so much for supporting our channel my friend!
Our temps have been move above than below freezing so we have almost no snow and no frost. Hoping for a soild freeze before we get any amount of snow. I'm not a fan of snow but do enjoy using the blower and blade on it.
Thanks for the comment. You’ll have to watch the follow up to this video, tomorrow which proves your point. Yes, quite a bit more snow, but solid ICE base. Made for a much more difficult job. Still fun though. Thanks for supporting our channel!
@TractorsAndLife looking forward to oart 2.
Plowing near the driveway would be good idea to have your warning flashers on but looks great good job
You’re spot on! Just filmed another video yesterday because we received a fairly substantial amount of you’ll be proud of me; flashers, front headlights, front and rear works lights all on!
I can’t believe you don’t have a half dozen customers around the neighborhood you live in the snowbelt😊
HI Dawn...Im sure I could pick up tons of work if I wanted but working for others is something I do pretty much exclusively in the Spring and Summer. In bad storms I do try and help out neighbors though. Thank you for supporting our channel!
Nice. Wheres the snow removing videos?? We all know Buffalo got crushed!! LOL
Hi Greg. Lots of snow but mostly south of us down by the Bills stadium. That’s the way lake effect snow is. Narrow bands of heavy snow. But I promise you snow plowing videos are coming. Thanks for supporting our channel!
That is a sharp looking tractor and setup that you have. Just curious what made you upgrade from your 1025r. Enjoy your videos! Always learning something and getting new ideas from them. Thanks again
Hi Keith! Thanks for the kind words. I LOVED my 1025R. However I often do tractor work for other people and found that I was sometimes limited by the 1025Rs lifting capability. But once again it’s a phenomenal tractor. We actually have a video called NO MORE 1025R that you may want to check out. Thank you for supporting our channel!
A grapple adds so much more functionality to a tractor. Definitely my favorite implement to use.
Good morning. Totally agree with you. Looking forward to doing some Spring and Summer work with it. Thank you for supporting our channel!
Their are good people that would make much better presidents. But the process of working into the system is cutthroat and slimy. And the good people don’t act like that. The one thing we do need to socialize in this country is the political system. The government should fund candidates with equal amount of air time and travel to campaign. No backstabbing allowed, candidates would present their positions and plans. This would eliminate the corporations and other high power special interest groups from buying the politicians. Give the country back to the the citizens.
What an intelligent, well thought out, reply. I agree 100% with every word. Thank you so much for supporting our channel!
What about the Yanmar YT235?
Good morning. Whats to not like about the YT235. Great machine. As I said in the video, we have choices and we should consider; features, price and dealer network, before the tractors "color". Thank you so much for supporting our channel!
John Deere makes a premium cab with an air ride seat for the 2038R and a front 3 point hitch, but it's only available to Canadian and European customers. Americans aren't allowed to buy it.
Wow! Really? Never heard that. What do you suppose the logic is behind that decision by Deere? Thank you for the comment and supporting our channel!
You got a high price tractor that came bare bones you added a lot of value to it Kioti and TYM seem to come with more factory equipped remotes and some other nice items 😊😊
Dawn take a look at the video I did a couple months ago. I have an honest one year review of my 2038R. I think you’ll find that you and I are thinking along the same lines. Thank you for supporting our channel!
You can also put chains on your tires in certain seasons/all seasons. If you have ice and snow, you probably also have mud, and they will help on both ice AND mud.
Hi John. You are SO right! I have to put chains on my JD X350 lawn tractor in the Spring, because the rear of my property gets so wet. I also used chains to snow plow with my Kubota BX23. Thanks for supporting our channel!
I used fluid film for the first time this Fall when I winterized several push mowers. I scraped the decks real well then applied. It"s very greasy. I always thought it was more of a rust preventative than anything else. Maybe it will completely dry?? We'll find out in the Spring!!!!
Thank you for the feedback. I agree with you. BUT...I have a new plan for next year. I viewer introduced me to GRAPHITE PAINT. Next year, before I apply the Fluid Film, I'm going to repaint with the graphite paint. We'll see what happens. Thanks for supporting our channel!
Fluid Film is not a Teflon product, it's a rust prevention product. It will also loosen rusted bolts.
Ken you are 100% correct. I was just trying to illustrate how the product helps grass to release easily from the deck. And it did work! Thanks for watching my friend!
I agree with you I grew up farming with John Deere but I’m not real happy with them anymore. I bought a new 1025r 2 years ago and I wish I would have shopped around more. I would definitely consider a Kioti tractor. I think you get a lot of tractor for the price. Keep up the videos. I really enjoy them!
I guess we paid more, but on the other hand, I believe we both have great tractors. Thank you so much for supporting our channel and for the nice words!
I just stumbled upon your channel and I really enjoy your content. Keep up the good work
Thank you Keith! We appreciate your support and feedback anytime!
@ just curious what kind of pressure washer are you running? Looks like it does a great job
@@keithgrubb6247 Bauer 2300 PSI. LOVE IT
Best thing i have found is graphite paint meant for farm implements. I have a mowing business and use it on all my decks haven’t had to reapply and it’s been two years although I am going to go reapply this winter.
Thanks Garrison. Great info. So good that next off season I’m going to follow your advice. The viewers will love this info. Thank you so much for supporting our channel!
@ it’s called ez slide graphite aerosol. Great stuff.
@garrisong thank you!!
I compost hem under my fallen tree
Maple leaves?
Living in a rural area the wind takes care of our leaves.
@@Malpeque_Bay_LX3310 hi. Do you ever compost leaves. As I understand it, maple break down fairly quickly but Oak takes forever. Thanks for watching!
We have a lot of open farm fields and not many trees so we don't get any piles of leaves on the ground. The only tree with any leaves left right now is my lone oak. They're all brown but hanging on.
I had the same tire on a 2500hd, only got 2 years out of them, about 30k which is fine, they did ok in the snow, just put weight in the bed if your breaking out in the rain. I ended up getting cooper strong holds this past October, 1st I noticed was a much quieter ride, a little bit stiffer, and much better traction on wet pavement, havent tried the snow yet, but there shouldnt be a problem.
Thanks Kenny. I’m definitely going to follow your advice with weight in the bed. Makes good sense. Thanks for supporting our channel!
Just curious why the move if I may ask?? We live in Florida and want to move North and people think we are crazy but I am sure it’s for similar reasons!!! Great video you two😊
Hi Anthony...(be sure to catch the episode coming out Sunday. I discuss this very subject.) I was born and raised in Western NY. I lived on the west coast (Cape Coral) for over 20 years and always missed home. I / We love the change of seasons and in 2018, we decided to move back. Best move ever, just wish it was sooner. Tess was born in the philippines and never even saw snow until we moved here. She calls it her winter wonderland. I'm not going to bad mouth Florida. No place is perfect. But today it will be 69 degrees, leaves are changing and Ill be working outside all day. My kids and grandkids are still in Florida and have been through tree hurricanes since we left. Something I do NOT miss. Go with your heart. Its a tough and expensive move. But what price do you put on happiness? Thank you so much for supporting our chanel!
Yes you are right can’t wait for the snow again Cape Breton ns thanks for the great videos
I’d love to have some wintertime pictures of your area to share with our viewers. I love winter too!!
I'm a big believer in preventive maintenance, keeping it clean and under roof. I have a lot of money tied up and want to make things last.
As you can tell, I totally agree with you. But as I said in the video, we all have our own way of doing things. I am not a wealthy man either, so I try to avoid financial surprises y being proactive. Thanks for the feedback my friend and thank you for watching!
Glad to hear you’re doing better and that Tim provided you with the inspiration you needed at that time! Never watched your channel before but I hope you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. He’s the only thing that gets me through the tough times! God bless!
Joseph my friend you are spot on. I would be no where without Him! No where.
Ivermectin and Phenbendazol look into it 🙂
Thanks for the very kind words! Yes, sometimes we need something we can get passionate about!
God bless you Tim.
You should have took the bucket and took the top layer off and then tilled it
You should never backup with a tiler
Im thinking you mean, never back up with the tiller down. I agree! But that is not what I did. I tried to raise the tiller - as I didnt know the pin was out of the i match - then I backed up, thinking it was up. Either way..bad day and a lot I would like to do differently. If you watch the video where I replace the PTO shaft, youll see how I took steps to be sure it doesnt happen again.
Too true about how Deere does its business! I'm old now at almost 75 and a first time novice. My new 2 hr 1025R is a Late in life Toy but it's my choice.😉 As a Christian, I seem to recognize that "Owning any expensive tractor" is like entering into a Religion.🤔 The work, maintainence, expense and safety measures is a real "High hour Part Time Job"! LOL 🤑🤕
Hi again Ken. The 1025R is a phenomenal machine. You will love it. I call it my "Swiss Army Knife", because it can do so many things. Enjoy my friend and God bless you!
Helped me to no end. 74 yr old novice with new 1025R with hoe and bucket only. LIKE the marking!

Great Review!
Thank you and thanks for watching!
Does it have an eject button for annoying passengers?!😂
Of course!!
We have an X380. That side panel is a pain. Poor design as it partially blocks the stock filter removal. I use a filter that is slightly longer than stock so that panel really got in the way. A quick trim with the Dremel to notch the panel and no need to remove it again.
Good morning and thank you for the comment. Good idea to make that issue easier to deal with! I have not had an issue with the filter removal on the X#%), as you saw in the video. Thank you for watching our channel!
@@TractorsAndLife Just thought I would offer a solution as you were showing the removed panel at 3:35 and I took that as the panel needed to be removed to service the filter. My bad. Nice video.
