That's the first kit like that I've seen that actually looks useful. I have a relative in a military base warehouse and have him on the lookout for deals on tools they're taking out of commission

This really isn't a auto or vehicle kit. These are used a lot by traveling millwrights, so they use SAE in a lot of older machines. And they can UPS or FEDEX overnight them to a jobsite or check them in as luggage at the airport or train station. Then the military has job specific cases, they come with the tools most used by that job and are assigned to a soldier or Marine at the start of a shift or job and then inventoried once returned to supply or toolroom. The military can pack a lot of these into a container or pallet and ship or fly them all over the world without trying to move a larger toolbox.

We send these kits downline to work on Aircraft to airports that don’t allow us to bring our own tools. Cause these sets are owned by the company and they come with a manifest.
