In 1991 I worked for a printing company in suburban Chicago that specialized in packaging for the music industry. We printed an EP with "A Wall I Must Climb". I remember Michael McDermott was a young guy that played local coffee houses, getting a lot of air play on alternative rock stations like 93.1 WXRT< NEVER understood why he didn't become more popular.

This song touched me so deeply I cried you did a super job. I will be looking forward for your awesome music. Thank you.

Great emotional song!

I booked Michael in Chattanooga back in 2001. It was a risk. No one in this southern town had heard of him, but I'd been following his music for years and felt others needed to hear. Not many showed up. But it was okay. I payed Michael (cuz it was the right thing to do) and we went down the street for some drinks & conversation. That's when I got to know him a bit more. Suffice it to say, those few hours over a scotch or two has inspired me to this day. And this song? A continuation of that nite

@wahoo111 You are so right..it had the same affect on me..I had never heard of him..I was watching GAC this am..and they played one of his videos..I ran to my computer..and typed his name in u-tube..I hope that he keeps getting the recognishion that he so deserves..he is one talented guy...I like his style too...Just have to guy some of his music...

i love this im glad to hear the county music channel i still playing music. the rock seen needs to change. Michael falls some where between the two for me, kinda like Cash (im not a county music fan) GAC will be getting love from me for recognizing talent.
