It's too bad they use laser etching for the roll marks instead of stamping on some of their guns. Also, I hate it when the roll marks are crooked (right side seems a little crooked, not too bad, my lady friend had a Gold Cup that was much worse). A pet peeve I guess.

Thanks for the detailed vid. I just ordered one. I usually mess with them and do beavertail grip safeties and modern hammers but because this one is stainless I want to keep it the way it is old school looking.

Love my Iron Rangers. Got a pair of Copper Rough & Tough and a pair of Charcoal Rough & Tough. Still my favourite boots after 6 years.

I love this cot and had around 50 hours good sleep in it so far. Added the legs to lift it further off the ground. You get four for each bed support, so 4 supports = 16 legs. Just makes it easier to get in and out of and I can store more stuff under it which is a bonus.

All I know is that if that Colt was mine, I wouldn’t be slamming my slide on an empty chamber. I consider that abuse. Like I said that is not my Colt.

WD-40 is pretty terrible as a gun oil. Get yourself a can of Breakfree CLP. Stands for Clean, Lubricate, and Protect (from rust). It is probably the single best product for doing all three at once, as.long as you shake it well before use. (Incidentally, that is three things WD-40 is comparatively useless for.) Or if you want a snazzy alternative, get yourself a can of Ballistol. Those are probably the best two on the market. Wd40 would be toears the bottom. Lucky your 1911 is stainless so there is no bluing for the wd40 to ruin but it is still a sweet piece of machinery deserving of the best
