Here are some of the restaurants we went to in 2024 in Lisbon (and around). Some of them are our favorites we do repeat them every year, others are new. We start this video with the asian restaurants, but you will also find places to have a special dinner, seafood, great croissants, pizzas and even mexican food.
* Panda Cantina - we love ramen in our house and we had to try the ones from this place, you cannot book in advance and you might need to queue but it is worth the wait. Don't miss out on the mochis either.
* Han Table Korean BBQ - this is one of our favorite places to eat, we always go to the original one (Arroios) but this year we decided to try a new one (in Saldanha area) and the food was equally good.
* Casanova - it is a city favorite for pizzas, I think the area was once livelier than today but this place still keeps working and serving some really good pizzas with a nice view to the river if you want to be outside.
*Oitto - we went to this place to try their Portuguese cuisine recipes with a more modern twist. The interior ir very nicely designed and the food was good, with some interesting combinations.
* Careca - this is a very famous place for croissants, they have a special recipe that is hard do describe and it is better to try it. They are more on the sweet side.
* Maria Croissant - another of our favorite places for croissants with the convenience of being in a shopping mall very close to where we usually stay. They make a very good brioche croissant.
* Baixamar - it is in the city center and it is a good place to have seafood with some more modern combinations. It is a bit expensive and also with more tourists than locals but the food is good and worth the visit.
* Marisco na Praça - everytime I need to recommend seafood to someone I say Ramiro or Marisco na Praça if you happen to do a day trip to Cascais. We really like it here, you choose the seafood from the counter and you choose how you want them to cook it. Because it is part of the local market you get fresh seafood, good quality at a reasonable price.
* Ribadouro - I have been to this place so many times even it is also a classic place for seafood in the city. It can be expensive depending on what you have but I certainly recommend apart from the seafood to have their steak, it is very good.
* Ground Burger - whenever we want to have good burgers, we come here. The family loves it and I like to order their lobster roll, that is really really good, but also quite expensive. Still we always pair it with a Burger also and don’t forget to order dessert: a doughnut from Crush.
* Paco Bigotes - this place is also outside of Lisbon on your way to Cascais, it is right next to the train station of São Pedro do Estoril. I would not say you need to take the trip but if you happen to pass by it can be a good option. There was a big hype when it opened and food is very good. Tacos are big so be careful when you order.
