On your opponnet's turn controling both you pop a monster spending half your life summon Mystic Mystery, Mystic Mystery effect if it can apply then quick sync Diabellstar and it into the new Snake Eyes quick effect send their follow up to the backrow. Battle phase if they still have things you have one more interaction and Diabellze provided protection.

The reason they do reveals like this is for retailers in Japan, pretty much needs to happen this way. I was not burnt out by Diabell lore, always excited to see Diabell lore. 1000 years Diabell lore please. Very much love this storyline and look forward to running a full Diabell deck.

This lore feels really redundant with how many cards the lore has gotten, i feel like it got 1-2 waves too many. Doesn't help all the cards glob together in one pile lol.

I think these cards are spicier than they look at first glance. If you use the pendulum effect AFTER stacking your deck then "draw one card" becomes "Pot of Prosperity without the restrictions"

40:05 no, no, in the first place, i really feel like the different summoning condition on the earth monster was the bigger oversight! Personnaly, I was considernig voiceless voice, with saffira having 2500 ATK, and skull guardian (as well as pendulumgraph) having 2500 DEF, and where ED lock wouldn't matter... you could play 1 water monster and up to 9 of the earth monster, normal and quick play spells so as to get a negate before you start your turn.. Time will tell...

It's a shame they only have 9 cards to actually start playing, because these seem really good. Especially that trap that foolishes as cost, and is then just soul charge that resets your game lmao. The amount of interaction they have +a negate is really good!

For some terrible-pun-intended sweet yuri I propose Madolche. Reasons are largely game mechanical, but pastry people and creatures chilling in a kingdom that has two queens, one of whom you summon by placing her atop the other (not just some lower-rank Madolche Xyz will do, Tiarafraise wants her wife Tiaramisu specifically) has some sweet yuri vibes (terrible pun remains intended).

I didn't know I needed a video about yuri yu-gi-oh archetypes in my life until now! I've quite yu-gi-oh a long time ago, but as a card game playing himedanshi who practically live on the yurimemes subreddit, I can't escape the game completely. As for the "live twins" being called twins without being related. It could be a reference to "Twin Angel" an old magical girl anime about two girls (later three) who fight an evil organization. Yes, it always comes back to magical girl anime. Magical girls are the backbone of the modern yuri genre. It's arguably the easiest way to have a cast of girls who aren't swooning over some guy (with some exceptions).

I know that Charmer and Witchcrafter is kind of stretch as there is a male charmer and Witchcrafter are just bunch of magician in endymion citadel under the guidance of Riola but I agree about Sky striker, Exo sister and Labrynth which I have them as a deck, tho most of the mention I have them except Charmers

I wasn't aware that there was so much (potential) yuri in Yu-Gi. I mean, e.g. on the artwork of the card "Linkage", I didn't realize it was Rose in the artwork. She looked like a boy, so I assumed it was some other character. I don't see the Sky Striker cards that often, I haven't really thought about that. (Similarly with other archetypes. I guess, apart from Shiranui-Mayakashi, I think, I didn't play any of these Yuri archetypes. I recently started to play Maliss/Malice. Next, You are probably going to tell me that Maliss is also Yuri, because 3 main deck and 3 extradeck monsters all being girls, yes?)

They tell legends of the yuri, from the highest mountains of the harpy village to the lowest pit of the underworld where forbidden Darklord is chilling in a triangle position with her crew. Truly questions to ponder within the Amazoness hot spring. If by then maybe only in ritual realm with Mikanko and Voicless voice or far away in the realm of Melodious. Or it was just the guy from Arc-V that ran PRedaplant...I don´t know.

HAPPY NEW YURI!! One point in Witchcrafters' favor is that in Vice-Madame, you can see Genni holding Haine's nervously shaking hand which is a subtle but super cute way of giving her support with her new duties. Honorable mentions should go to Rikka. Pretty and cute girls having moe slice of life moments in a garden of snow, and the art of Glamour is just tinged with tender romantic vibes. One could also make cases for Solfachord (Charmer-like setup), Vaalmonica (shoulder angel and devil arguing over a girl, and theyre both girls), the Slacker/Alchemic/Akashic Magician trio (two Rivals and the third barging in to get along with both of them), the Mikanko trio (Childhood friend Rivals from different competing families), and a few more I'm probably forgetting. But this is a good list, and I'd say the top 4 all deserve to be in top 4 even if there's room to argue with placements! My personal favourite is Shirakashi doing a Romeo and Juliet with Squire and Dakki because their aesthetic truly speaks to my Touhou-loving ass, but Labrynth has such strong lesbian symbolism, Live Twins are so Iconic and feel the most intimate with each other, and Sky Striker is the most magical girl style deck there is (transforming mecha-styled magical girl reaches out to save her gloomy rival that's fighting for a side that doesn't care about her well being and shows her love through combat? literally NanoFate for YGO!!) so they could all easily win in my book!!

So I was unironicly kinda tired and saw "Top Ten Yuri Archetypes" on my home page and was like "oh cool, something about Archetypes in yuri? Guess ill just close my my eyes for a bit and listen".
