How can you do this test with a watch around your arm
Make a test under ground. Use gold

Hi, It depends on which soil you are detecting on. But for example AT Pro on undisturbed dirt its about 8" deep for a nickel coin which diameter is about 835 inches.

Which is the best Garrett AT Pro, Ace 250, Ace 300/350, AT Gold ?
AT Gold is Best for: prospecting relics coins. AT Pro is best for: coins beaches relics.

I have tested my friends AT Gold and after my short test I would say both detectors are very similar but If you are looking for Gold or other minerals then the AT Gold is a detector for you. But I personally like more AT Pro because it have a bigger sized coil and can be used also in saltwater. So At Pro is my choice.
depth with standard coil is small, need to find a coil nel hunter
