I think removing the one repair, and doing it on the reverse side will absolutely make the spread present better. The leaf casting was very successful, Jerry, so you should be proud of how it turned out. It's looking terrific!

I’m doing leaf casting this weekend on the cover of Wonder Woman #24 and have the furnish recipe made, refrigerated, and ready to go. I will do the spine and the whole perimeter for better overall support as you do, Jerry, and then keep in the press for a few days.

Hi Jerry. I've been watching your videos for quite a while now and have decided to try to conserve a book myself. I know you use both Reemay and Holytex in your conservation process...do you think it is necessary to have both? Would simply using Reemay paper be enough to do a high quality job? Thanks very much!

I recently found your channel. I can't stop watching. I've always wanted to learn how to conserve old books. I love golden age and silver age comics. One of my favorite artists is L.B. Cole. I love his Blue Bolt covers like Weird Tales. Great work!

$400 is not a crazy price for that rare book. It has the '39 World's Fair train on the cover with Nazis fighting Captain Marvel, who's lifting the up the train tracks, and twisting them in knots! Crazy-good cover! Yeah. It's missing big chunks, but it has the covers. It's a tough one to find in ANY condition...let alone at an affordable price. $400 is a lot of money, but it's not crazy-big money. You did good, Jer.

Hi Jerry. Oh man congrats great book arguably the best train cover & Whiz Comics cover, very cool looking train. Very cool splash page, the page color & quality looks pretty good. I don't know the fair market value on this book, but I wouldn't be surprised if you scored a great deal on this book.

I think $400 is a very fair price. I'm not even into Captain Marvel/Whiz Comics, and this is the only Whiz Comic I personally want in my collection. It's a really dynamic cover.
