hi, thank you for the video. If I want to determine the mechanical properties of PCB with copper layers in it, can we use three point bend test? for example, if I have a 4 layer 100mm X 100mm PCB of 1.6mm thick with different percentage of copper in each layers, how to find the properties like 'E' value? Is there any other method to find the properties without damaging the PCB since the PCBs will be different for different applications. we need to know this since copper increases the stiffness of the PCB.

Got to be careful with cross contamination. You touched your mouse with, and without the glove. Not sure if any sanitation was done in between the editing. Thank you for the informative video.

how do we know if the transverse shear is positive or negetive

Great work I know a lot of people who use an Instron machine for testing rat and mouse bones.

Hi, how do we get the flexural modulus?

I'm having problem in the signs of shear forces and bending moment, can you explain more about this point because it killing me when adding normal and shear stresses.

Mohammad - When adding normal, shear, bending, and torsional forces, the most important thing to do is to remain consistent. I would recommend setting your normal and shear forces as positive when directed in the direction of the labeled axis and negative in the opposite direction. Furthermore, I would follow the right-hand rule sign convention for moments and torques. That is, curl your right hand along the path of the moment (or torque) and if your thumb points in the direction of the axis you call it positive. By following a consistent sign convention, you will be able to correctly add and subtract your forces and moments. I hope this helps!
