PLS THIS TITLE IS INSANE

Alright apologies for this rant but as someone who has not gone this far into the series yet, Upon looking at this and seeing how other people are apparently saying “oh Lloyd has every right to feel this way not being loved enough by his only dad and all 🥺” And yeah sure in any context anyone has a right to feel the way that Lloyd does…but my problem with it is is that I’m just sitting here wondering “…Well what about in the earlier seasons where he VERY MUCH DID care a lot more about Lloyd than even his biggest objectives!!” Like there’s so many examples where he wanted to care about his son’s well being so much. He prioritized saving Lloyd’s life over one of the MacGuffins the ninja were trying to seize like he literally didn’t want to leave until his son was rescued, he did try to make some efforts to be a little more normal when living in the ninja’s ship but ultimately couldn’t help it due to the great devourer’s venom yet when Lloyd showed clear frustration about it he simply listened to him even after trying to explain his side of things and I’m pretty sure he did leave soon afterwards, and the guy even fought tooth and nail to stop himself from hurting Lloyd when that dragon of darkness thing possessed his body. AND ontop of that even when it was revealed that Lloyd was the green ninja and therefore wasn’t gonna be following in his father’s footsteps, Garmadon didn’t show any distain or indifference for that matter. He was sad about it more than anything else because that means to achieve his goals his very son that he CLEARLY LOVED VERY MUCH was gonna have to be out of the picture. He even expresses that remorse more than once despite being the only one to give a damn. Again I haven’t gone this far into the show yet but I’m just expressing my confusion as a person who mainly grew up with the first Ninjago Masters of Spinjitsu show. If someone can explain why Garmadon is suddenly written like this (in universe wise if there’s another reason aside from the movie that came out.) or why people are talking about him as if he didn’t try to be a present father figure within Lloyd’s childhood then that’ll be much appreciated.
