Hey man, loved your video. I actually found your channel from the quitting RuneScape video, as I just deleted my jagex account last month. I also coincidentally did a digital marketing course at uni last semester, and want to go into google analytics or content creation as a digital nomad. I just don’t know where to start. (22 years old male)
im trying to force myself to let go of osrs, I've been playing since 2005 off and on and I feel its time to move onto a new game if I so desire. I don't play 8 hours a day or more like many but osrs still has its hooks in me and its time to move on to something new.
Davis Edward White George Walker Barbara
my selfish desire is to also learn google ads (which tbh i've been thinking about for a while but only recently am i taking action) and spend more time in korea (really my home. lived there for 2 years. would give everything to move back)
I used ‘it works’ solidly for 4 months. Had a variety of desires on there. Nothing happened, nothing changed. It taught me that there is no god or outside force that helps.

Dont you need to meet up IRL with clients and new leads? how can you do this in south korea

Just do it in moderation
The problem with this video like thousands of others is that he doesn't bring his own personal exeperiences into the discussion. I want him to tell me what "It Works" did for him with specifics; not generalities. Everyone likes to talk about manifestation and various techniques but are usually silent when it comes to describing their own personal experience with it.
Indeed
osrs is a time sink and the player base not it
My problem with this game is that it slowly and completely takes over your priorities.
Great video man, you offered some interesting perspectives that resonated a lot with my current experiences being out here living as a digital nomad and creating too - what business are you in?
So true about the safety - I moved here from Birmingham, UK around a month ago fairly similar sized city to Da Nang but the contrast in that regard couldn't be more apparent, there's a real atmosphere of mutual trust in Vietnam I've noticed so far which I spoke about in my video too.
So have you had success receiving insights/downloads from being in the silence?
yes!
I think Vietnamese people always go for a walk on the beach very early or in the afternoon because at that time there is little sunshine, it is not too hot and the UV radiation is not too high.
Hi brother what's your remote job? Enjoy Da Nang :)
i run my own business
Facts brother! I'm currently contemplating leaving the corporate stronghold and using my skillset to vibe with people to travel the world and share the experiences with the world!
it's all possible! hope this inspires you
I get bored of being a nomad - UK keeps me working hard earning large amounts of money - when I do nomadic living / work my revenue is seriously hit and also I don't enjoy the travel as much - it becomes a chore All those luxury holiday things, aka beach, resorts, just nice fun things become absolutely boring over time I prefer to just do me few 4-6 week travel / holiday breaks with very light work rather than pure nomad living! Yeah loads of nomads are broke... but they're also just victims to escapism :) Make £10k + a month first, then travel later!
@JacobCryptoBury great idea, make the money first, then do some traveling, what biz are you in?
@@asiseveenUSA crypto seo + affiliate marketing :) yes! working abroad sounds magical, in reality you still can't enjoy it as much as one wishes
can do it with as little as $2000, that's what I'd advise to anyone thinking
Loved the video brother.. It for sure hits close to home for me. Also noticed you're in Da Nang. I'm a little north of you in Hanoi as of now. Hope you like it. I see a lot of people go to Da Nang and say they love it 😅
yeah da nang is great, glad you liked it
I love Da Nang i just left there. It grows on you daily. You need a bike to get around
yep just got a bike!
Slow down bro
no
Vietnam airlines only flies to direct to vietnam (Ho Chi Minh) from San Fran to my knowledge, I would rather fly direct to Vietnam I don't like to make connecting flights in different countries if I can help it
ah got it, thanks!
Wow, I'm impressed that you knew about seed oils and tried to avoid them. Also the use of plastic everywhere. I saw many videos and tried to figure out if the bowls they used for Pho are plastic but I couldn't tell. It's not a good idea to put hot food in plastic bowl. Congratulations as you're the first TH-camr in Asia that is health conscious on what's really important.
Audio too low.
Really interesting content! Would love to see more about ur life as digital nomad in vietnam since i am also planning to go
yeah sure
Looking to visit in late February, thank you for making the video.full of useful information.this video deserves alot of hits.🇮🇪
my pleasure
keep it up bro! i like your previous video how to become digital nomad. sub
Awesome, thank you!
awesome insight! some people dont like their face/name on the internet which is understandable. plus not everyone enjoys the process of videomaking either.
like i said think that's a big mistake
nice one bro! im going to move to da nang the next months thanks for the video 🙏🏽
Any time
Welcome ❤ to thailand.
thanks!
Beautiful beach Danang :D
Ngl, I’m feeling like this now. I started in 07, played until eoc dropped and then quit. When OSRS dropped, I played it but I never stuck around and quit for many years. Then in November of last year, some irl shit happened and I wanted to escape. I came across a TH-cam video of the game and was like why not. In 6 months, I’ve gone from base 50cb stats to maxed, base 75 skills and a quest cape with over 350 experts in TOA. I went from a 3m bank to 2.5bill. I did all that and much more in 6months. Thankfully I’m doing well irl but this game has consumed me even though I’m out of the rut I was in back in November. I’ve literally nolifed it which is how I managed to make so much progress in such a short span of time. Bear in mind, I haven’t touched it in years. Recently I’ve been grinding the inferno and I’m so close to the cape but during one of my attempts (think I’m around 40, 3 zuks), it hit me like man, wtf am I doing with my life. I’ve lost weight because I forget to eat. I don’t think gaming is even that bad of a hobby but this game specifically is too much for someone like me. I can’t find that balance. I’m considering just quitting cold turkey atp. Regular games like Elden ring I can manage and find the balance easily. I think it must be an MMO thing tbh
just quit bro
@@jordanharoldbailey since writing this comment, I’ve decided to take a break from the game. The thing is, it’s not like I’m quitting gaming in general, just this game. Maybe if I ever return, which is likely, I’d be able to find some kind of balance like I do with other games/media but what initially brought me back was the sad state I was in. Now I’m not sad anymore, so maybe if I get my life in check, in regards to my weight, training, hobbies etc, I won’t wanna ruin that stuff upon a potential return to the game. Last night, was the first time in a long time I didn’t log on. I chilled and played a bit of Elden ring, preparing for the dlc next week and what a relief it was to do that, not because I was playing a game, but because I wasn’t playing osrs lmao. Osrs feels like a bit of a chore to me right now. Of course, if I find myself ever falling into addiction again, I’d call it quits but I’d like to think I have the willpower to enjoy OSRS and have the ability to balance it. But let’s see.
@@itachiuchiha1714 now imagine being a bad player in general what you did in 6 months others did in years. only to burn out because of the higher content that seems impossible, but then to grind it out... lmao. i took a break for 7 months, just tired of the grind. thinking of going back out of boredom. can't seem to be able to get my life together anyway after al these years, just gets worse so even if i don't really wanna play, it's still tempting...
@@Dailyrider94 I progressed quick, but at what cost. Ngl, I haven’t actually touched the game much in the last couple weeks but I think it’s out of boredom. I’m so bored because I have no goals. I already have more money than I know what to do with. Been playing a lot of Elden ring which has been fun with the new dlc, and unlike OSRS, it’s not grindy. If anything, I’m kinda glad I got rich quick because being end game is what’s making me bored. If I was mid game, there’d still be a lot for me to do. Right now, with my bank and stats, I feel like I’ve completed the game. Granted I’m not maxed, but I’m in a better position than most players ever will be which is good enough for me. Are there any other games that you can play instead of osrs? I’d steer clear of MMOS, MOBAs or anything grindy. Just play a “normal” game. Literally anything else.
@@itachiuchiha1714you made the right decision. Stay off the game bro you’re just like me. You figured things out in a very short amount of time. The game preys on people like us. So many ways to min max will keep you there forever, trust me. I have friends on that game that have played every single day for years. Every time I log in there they are. It doesn’t change especially being end game, it’s designed to keep you there. You’re right… for people like us, it’s this game specifically. It just does something to ppl like us it can be incredibly time consuming. The fact that you’re aware of what’s happening is the important part though. Good on you man.
Welcome to Danang. :)
Congrats!
Thank you Jordan.
You are wrong that the government is working for the best interests of the people here. Lots of corruption here. I think Buddhism is the major influence on people’s behavior. Unfortunately, younger generations are going shy themselves away from religions so I think Thai society will be more individualistic and selfish in the distant future.
… as a German Biologist - this may get you addicted to Mind Opiates the Essence is Impulse Control Emotional Martial Arts Training never ever get tempted by anything. Our Techno Sphere Social War Zone traps you in Mind Prisons to Vampyre you dry then nothing “helps”...
I realized that i had to quit when nothing felt appealing anymore other than playing OSRS. Don't get me wrong, i love the game, but sadly everything else just felt so boring compared with the game. It was literally a drug for me, i love high end game pvm mechanics being top 300 ToB myself, but sadly i knew i needed to stop so i could live my life to the fullest.
Thanks for this overview, it's interesting. However I think you need to read/listen to more Neville if you think that he doesn't talk about full-sense visualisation. That is his #1 main technque that he talks about over and over and over again. Most of his books are focused on this, but especially read Power of Awareness. You aquire the feeling of the wish fulfilled primarily through vivid imagination of a scene implying that your wish is fulfilled, and you remain connected with that feeling, that knowing, that certainty, that realness, despite what the outside world is showing you.
Great to see you are doing well in Thailand
Congratulations on leaving anything that is unhealthy foremost. I do play and have played osrs and back in the days I do have a 99 once I reached than 99 completed all the F2P portion of the game and leveled decently into 70's I took a 2 break without touching it or anything came back maybe few days" just to look around". I play casually ( had two people at g.e say your not leveling up your wasting xp gains) along those I responded I work full time I only play casually few hrs a day max usually it's I'm going to complete this quest maybe do some fletching or whatever for remaining time and call it a day ( there's a limit I strictly adhere too regardless if what two think) on my 5 year account I believe some days I don't get to go online other days I do that's just the way it goes sometimes. Even after reaching 99 only in one stat I'm actually quite happy that I could achieve something I only dreamt of as younglin ( I think many people dream off too having 99 or 99's which many players didn't) I also understand I'll may never max out my stats or be at the highest end of content without either sacrificing my time and dropping serious hours into game. ( In all honesty that's never happening ) My osrs is something casually. I think back in the day my highest early 60's ( 61-62) that's about being 80's in nowdays. ( Resource back then was lot more harder)
IT REALLY WORK'S.
"works"
Thank you
Hello Sir, Are you looking for a professional TH-cam thumbnail designer to grow your views?
Why would you play Ironman if you value your time? You can still go to the gym, have friends IRL, and play OSRS. OSRS is a game you can just pick up and play or put down at any time
