I got hit by a sudden nostalgia when I was editing this video, i was like “Wait, this looks like NFS The Run,”. The car & track combination and the vibe is just there, so I added in the music, and it turns out to be quite fitting 😂

Which is kinda weird because in the previous race (Ferrari 575 GTC), I was able to outrun the AI on Ninja difficulty by +15 secs. I think some tracks make the AI drive faster

It’s not really that hard when it comes to driving normally, it’s just that it’s hard to have consistent results when you constantly drive on the edge all of the time. Maybe it’s doable on a proper controller, but in my case my trigger buttons are very sensitive, making it hard to push the car without locking up the brakes or spinning the rear wheels. Also turning on Stability Control actually makes you faster in this game, while turning it off will make your car very stiff while turning to the point where you have to use the handbrake to get more rotation, it’s like the steering radius is reduced

Yup, it adds DLC cars as the opponent and makes the AI a lot harder

The best racing game in the history of arcade games. What a pity that now creators do not put such commitment and so many interesting ideas into their productions, including codemasters.

The thing about the Agera is that it doesn’t like wide angle drifting at all. Once you go past a certain slip angle, it is IMPOSSIBLE to straighten the car back. A bit weird to me considering how good the Koenigsegg CCGT was when I used it on the final race. Don’t worry though, I deliberately did it for the poll 😂

Depends on what type of game a person is looking for. Obviously if i’m talking to someone who plays ACC or RFactor, I wouldn’t give this game as a recommendation. But for most casual gamers, I guarantee you’ll have a blast playing this game. Sense of speed is insane, one of the best I’ve ever experienced in all my years playing car games. Handling is not as bad as people make it out to be, in fact I enjoyed it a lot. Graphics is WAY ahead of it’s time. To put it into perspective take look at FH (2012) and TC1 (2013), not even close compared to GRID 2’s visuals. Though with all honesty I gotta say GRID 2 is not perfect. They remove the option to select sponsors and swap out it’s slots after the final season, fortunately you still can edit your liveries. The drift scores sometimes are not registered properly (you have to wait to start another drift). I have to warn you although many drifting is involved, the drifting here feels nothing like HP2010 or Rivals. To describe it briefly it’s basically the drift handling from GRID 1 except without the loss of speed. Casual gamers might not be able to pick this game and master it right away, but if you’re a racing game veteran and you’re looking for something new, this game will give you a good time. I have a feeling if you like Driver SF’s handling you’ll like this game’s handling too. I can’t give you exact 1-10 scores since video games are a form of art that evokes a diverse range of emotions from humans. But that aside, I can say that GRID 2 is a must try for racing game enthusiasts.

​@@thehunt8r You convinced me to give it a try when i heard "Driver SF Handling", I have played similar games, even AC, DiRT 2 and Driver SF to name a few, i just love the adrenaline behind the wheel, no matter if it's a full simulation, Sim-Arcade or Full Arcade

I think I still can brake a bit more to get closer to the inside line, it’s far from perfect imo
