Thanks! This was a very interesting and informative presentation. It is the first time I learn anything about philatelic research, and the presentation was an excellent introduction.

Thank you for a highly informative presentation. I think it is invaluable for any one who wants to exhibit, but especially to the beginner exhibitor. One thing I found strange: why not number the pages in an exhibit? This will support order, and one will be able to refer in the contents to page numbers, so that a person can "jump" to a page if they are interested in something specific. Just a thought. I also wondered why referencing is not more rigid and compulsory. Any fact that one writes that is not your own, but originates from another article, should be referenced, also in the text (scientific method of writing). But largely thanks for the talk Andrew, I certainly learned a lot.

Andrew, thank you for a great and very helpful foundation about planning, structuring and creating an exhibit. I plan to exhibit for the first time, and I found the information hugely helpful!

This was a very excellent presentation with a huge amount of excellent information. I enjoyed the talk, but as someone that contemplate possibly doing an exhibit, it really put everything in perspective and the explanation about moving from collection, showing your collection and eventually progressing to developing an exhibit was really insightful. Really thanks for this clear, well presented and pleasant treatise of the subject, Gregg!!!

This is an excellent presentation. I have been travelling and missed all of the live episodes and am catching up. Perhaps I will dive into the postal history of where I travelled to!

This was excellent. I missed this session but caught the next two live and I'm grateful I got to catch up today. The advice to progress from collection to display to exhibit was very helpful (I'm certainly in the space between showing collections and creating displays.) And I love your emphasis on storytelling first and foremost. Which makes me wonder if in this day and age, traditional exhibits are most effective way to tell your story? For example, I bet more people saw your presentation on the Antwerp Olympic issue via the APS stamp chat than would see your exhibit at a show. And having you there to narrate and share the story made a huge difference in how I appreciated the material and the story. It's similar to your point about exhibits vs articles. An article / powerpoint driven talk has more reach and more breadth, but not as much depth, perhaps?

re the perforations in very early stamps that have been [like a blunt perforator] like the China, Japan etc. Why did they do this...and was it deliberate .? Would be interesting to look into this. i collect MNH /MINT AND USED for my countries i collect.

Greetings from Greece. i have joined..I am a philatelist collecting mainly Greece, New Zealand, Cyprus, Britain, and Cook Islands. I entered the hobby through another hobby of mine collecting my favourite artist Connie Francis in New Zealand since 1971.I've massed a large collection of hers from around the world and through my getting the new releases of her across the 'universe' i got hooked on stamps. I started to collect New Zealand and Greece since they were the countries i was living in and as i'm half Greek on my mother's side.I was using hinges to make pages with and that was a big mistake, but my MNH are being replaced slowly slowly. I now have all Greek stamps MNH from 1958-1995. I am using stock books to place them in order and while i'm devising my stamp album pages using AlbumEasy .That would be another vid for making your own stamp pages.
