I remember all the dogs I’ve lost when I was young back in my home country. I know their names but it hurts me that I don’t remember most of their faces (the time when camera was so expensive). I have a dog right now here in the US in which I’m giving all my best to give the best possible life for him.

I have a playlist for my dog Posey and when she died and I was beyond heart broken I played her playlist and then this song came on at the end out of the blue. When I saw the video and heard the lyrics I know it was her sending me a message from heaven. This song has helped to heal my soul- thank you for writing it and sharing Indiana’s life with us. The lyric “I spoke to God, he’ll take care of you” is so powerful and o sing out loud and cry each time.

Bro, thank you so much for this video! I've been listening to 'I loved you then' constantly over the last few months since I found the song on Spotify. Today, I looked it up on TH-cam and watched the video for the first time. Initially, I thought the song was written to be a tribute to Indy based on the visuals, but this video clarified all of that-- how it didn't make the cut on an older project, but ended up taking on a whole new meaning by the time the EP came about. When I first heard this song, it hit me right in the heart and soul. It immediately made me think of the girl that got away in my life. Sometimes I'd listen and think about how it all went wrong and what life might look like without her as I get older and older. Other times, I'd just sit there and imagine how everything could fall back into line. How it could be to do things over the right way, to support each other, raise a family, and most of all, to love each other until that clock winds down for good. 'Cause I loved her then, and I love her still (see what I did there? haha). In this genre (or similar) I mostly enjoy music with as few instruments as possible. I love truly acoustic songs; just a voice, a guitar or piano, and thought/emotion provoking lyrics. With 'I loved you then," I think you guys nailed it on the production and songwriting on this song as well as others that I have in my playlists. As a musician myself, I can really respect your all's work and I wish you guys nothing but success! Cheers from the US!

This song has come on my spotify often. I have been thinking of my soulmate dog, Eben who passed away recently when i listen to it. A couple of days ago i looked up the video and i had no idea it was about his dog indiana. I hope eben and indiana are in heaven having so much fun right now. I listen to this song on repeat thinking of Eben, this song is so comforting yet so heart breaking. It validates my grief, love, and longing to see my baby again. Im right behind you Eben.
