I have this exact motor on my boat and it runs like a charm. I have been told by a mechanic though, not to rev it like that too much when on muffs.

Um. FYI, these motors are engineered to run at WOT. It’s not an automotive motor. I had a 202 Shabah 1996 4.3L and 19 pitch prop. It ran 4800 rpms and 50+ mph

i have this motor and cylinders are not rusted nor are they seized im going to get to rebuilding it so when i have a bigger boat i can fly on the water

It’s throttle body injection and it’s clearly a Volvo!

It has a aluminum alloyed block so I'm quite sure it can.

Just bought one for $ 3000 they wanted $4200 to many things to repair but overall good boat!
