    I’ve owned 30ish guitars over the years ranging from cheap squires to Ernie ball musicians. There are 2 guitars I refuse to sell. My Schecter platinum and my Ibanez genesis. $750-$1000 seems to be the sweet spot. Everything above that is brand, labor cost , finish etc. playability on the Schecter is identical to the EB majesty 7.

    I saw one of these in a pawn shop once with this sweet metallic copper color & black pick guard. I'm an intermediate player with some basic electronics tech skills. I'm also primarily a metal - humbucker guy but I like to branch out and am interested in different styles and sounds. My personal feelings are that I can get a lot of sound variations out of my amp and Im not that much of a purist. My main concern is basically "playability". Things like neck feel, bridge orientation, weight balance. Bad setup/ intonation, poor tuning pegs, string nut ,faulty electronics can always be problematic but aren't too difficult to fix. I'm still wanting to get a Tele shape and I love the Epiphone brand.

    I have a left-handed Platinum C-1 that just happens to be the exact guitar used on Schecter's website as their photo model. It's the same exact guitar Musician's Friend/Guitar Center used as their representative guitar (most likely using the stock pictures from Schecter). The serial number on the guitar from the websites matches with the one I have sitting right next to me and it arrived in flawless condition, as you would expect from a guitar that was used in a photo shoot. I upgraded the electronics to actual EMG pots and switches (the electronics were definitely not from EMG, just the pickups), plus I changed out the model of EMG pickups from the 81/85 set to a 57/66 set and I like the results better. As I said previously, this guitar came to me in absolutely flawless condition - the first time I've never had to change anything except strings on an instrument after buying one.

    This was a better video than the others but I'm having issues with my AxeFx 3. I've kind of put your video with another video and set my setup/midi/remote/scene select to 34 as you but I'm confused by your vocabulary which I assume is different for your hardware. I have presets and scenes and because the first like 300 presets are factory presets, I don't want to delete them. The preset I want to use is all the way up at 464 with 5 different scenes. If I follow what you're doing, I should be using 463 and 4 but this doesn't work. It automatically directs my AxeFx 3 to preset number 384. What the hell am I doing wrong? Do I really have to delete the first 10 presets to make this work?

    • @ReapingDrake
      @ReapingDrake 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I would suggest moving those first 10 presets to the 400's on your storage bank and resaving your desired presets to the beginning.

    We got Damien Platinum a 6-string here the Floyd Rose Eng and all that freaking fantastic now you done the bed inlays it's pretty cool looking heavy metal type guitar my son loves it. I like my Schecter Omen Elite 7-string that's my favorite Schecter right now I never expected a 7-string to be so perfect and so awesome the awkward and a little much neck heavy and the number strings would look up orders breakthrough six-string but this guitar is unbelievable I can't stop looking at it sometimes I love the Elite series The Elite Series I think are the best-looking.

      That would be the MSRP just based on the quality and features of these instruments. Guitar Center, however considers this guitar to be a "loss leader". They will cut the price of this guitar by 30% on every sale. If you want one cheap, just wait for a holiday, or get a barely used one for less than $400. They go on sale so often that their resale value is through the floor.
