Tried with 2 cups of water for one cup of rice. Added a few drops oil as advised and a pinch of salt for taste. Pressure cooked and switched off after the whistle blew 3 times and then let it sit till the pressure subsided. It came out well. Thanks!

I think 1:2 is perfect not 1:2.5
Yes 2 cups of water for 1 cup of rice, keep the flame on high with the weight on, turn the pressure cooker off on the first whistle and open after 10mins.
