you inspired me to post a horse expo vlog!
hi this is Leah I ride horses to I have a horse named pebbles I really want to ride like her when I grow up I even show at Elkhart county and for my first year I even captured they make u trot for your first year. it they let me canter. I think she is a awesome rider she is a really good influence on me
I remember watching you. I thought that you were awesome!!
omg i luved this! i went last year and it was a blast!!! :)
AWESOME...EVERY RIDERS ULTIMATE DREAM IS TA BE 1 WITH THERE HORSE LIKE THAT...AMAZING!
My mare looks like that :-) Solid black with the left hind sock
i wish that i had a horse that looked like that!!! and trained like that!! ha but awesome riding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! my dream is to be like that one day
I've got tears in my eyes! This song always reminds me of my old horse, Maggie.... Love you, Mags!
Hi guys, does anyone know what training techniques Stacy uses to get horses up to this level - ie: positive punishment (eg whip) negative reinfocement (spurs / bit)? I am assuming that she doesn't just jump on bridleless right from the start! Thanks :)
Thank you so much for posting this video. I didn't get to the Expo this year. She was the only one I wanted to see.
she had a quarter horse mare
Equine Affaire has the same old tiring demos, year after year. If I didn't have to be there as a vendor, I wouldnt even bother anymore, but yes, Stacey would be fabulous
Does anyone know what kind of horse she has? Very lovely....and she is an excellent rider...
i missed this last year i was watcihng somehting else
I have seen this woman work 'behind the scenes', and quite frankly, IMHO, she is the best horseperson EVER. She has such a bond with Roxie it is unbelievable, and every performance she does nearly brings me to tears. Not only is she an amazing rider, she is a wife and mother to three boys. She is amazing.
I have watched her perform many times. She only uses spurs humanely. If you don't believe it, take a look at the horse next time you see her in person. The horse licks its lips, chews: All signs of a happy and content horse. I believe in Stacey so much that MY horse is going to her for training. She can teach him that relaxation and contentedness under saddle. If you don't understand it, don't make a comment. you won't find a better cared for horse than Whiz......
I was there for that demo and she was amazing and a great speaker as well. She deserves the highest props!
i love it. i ahve a 3 yr that i can ride walk trot cantor, turns on the haunches, stoping, figure eights and backing all bridleless its feels pretty cool to ahve such a great relationship with your horse.
U must be a showjumper then!!! dressage is defo the way forwards!!! kiss my butt
I saw this person ride at Equine Extravaganza. She stopped her horse with great big spurs in the horse's shoulders at one stage spurring with all her might. That's not LIBERTY...That's NOT NICE Miss Stacy! Don't think that hundreds of people didn't notice!
associating tail wringing with being rank is saying it as a bad thing. all riding is based upon dressage and my trainer is a reining trainer so i know all about a horse needing to keep their balance espically in spins and stops. and not having a saddle has nothing to do with it.
I only wish I could be that good
there is nothing wrong with tail wringing, if her horse was so rank then why would it let her do so much with her. doing all those maneuvers, espically without a saddle or a bridle, you have to use every part of your leg and that is just the horses natural response. it also helps to keep balance, espically in the spin, lets see you go so fast and plant that inside rear hind now tell me that wouldnt be hard for you to keep your balance.
