TUNE TO 4:37:00 TO SEE THE FIGHT DESCRIBED BELOW! I had such a great time on this run, to prove that 2 Summoners using their pets and taunting back and forth, could be a legitimate alternative to a Tank in one of the harder HC Camps BRG. We not only proved it, we went a step farther. Ethos was the Summoner who came up with this idea, and we went in and proved it was a viable idea, running a BRG camp with no Tank for an hour or more, until Ethos had to leave. What happened next he didn't even predict, but with only 5 members left in group, only one a Summoner with a pet who has any chance at tanking, we decide to pull a single while waiting for a Tank to come join us. I am Mezzer and I went to pull, and when I did I had a pop add, so I mezzed him there and brought the original mob I pulled back to camp. I told the group I had to mez an add outside the camp, but had a single incoming and Id keep an eye on the add when he came to camp and me6z him. So they start beating o n the original mob we intended to pull solo, since we were a 5 man team with no tank.... Cleric, Ranger, Wizard, Summoner and the Enchanter me... now we have 1 in camp and 1 add mezzed outside camp. As the fight gets into action I move back to the front of the room to get a spot where I can see the add coming in and get a new Mez cast on him asap. Well, when he came, he brought another friend (another repop), and right as they were hitting camp, the one we were fighting did that big AE stun that these guys are so famous for, which put both me and the Cleric out of action just long enough for those two adds to reach me and pummel me. I went down with 3 mobs in camp, no other CC, No Tank, just a Wizzie, Summoner, Ranger and Cleric. After I went down Wayne also got knocked out, so now no CC and No HEALS.... Then like a scene from a dramatic movie, Kitt gets a heal on her brother Wayne and he gets up, then tossing a heal on me to get me up, then I immediately hit an AE Stun and get a single mez on one of the 3, then as quickly as possible target the other full health add and toss a mez on him, all while the SINGLE Summoner with a single pet to tank kept aggro on the original mob and stayed alive long enough for Wayne to even up everyone's health. At this point it was still super questionable if we would have the Mana, DPS or Mitigation to last through 3 Guards with only 5 of us and no Tank, so we all took a breath and started celebrating the fact we just came back from certain death, and how it is event, times or screwups like this that fill us with so much excitement and exhilaration, like no other game since EQ has done... and we aren't even worrying about if we can make it, we are just celebrating and doing our best to do something NONE of us would of thought possible just hours before! Well, we do finish them off without further incident, and keep on having fun for a little while longer in HC BRG camp with only ONE Summoner pet to tank, until our Tank replacement arrived and we moved to ghosts :). You can watch this battle I just described starting around 4 hours 35 minutes in, which is where Ethos said his goodbyes when he got pulled away suddenly, with the combat aspect starting just a couple minutes later!
