Drone footage
North Pennines
Had two trips up here and both were affected by the weather. Managed to get some footage, but not of exactly where I wanted to be. Still some stunning scenery and the drive here is pretty awesome too.

Norham Castle
มุมมอง 5726 ปีที่แล้ว
First built right on the England/Scotland border by Ranulf Flambard, the Bishop of Durham in 1121, Norham castle was besieged by the Scots 9 times and captured by them 4 times in what was then a rather lawless part of the country. Whilst the castle had been rebuilt after the last siege in 1513, in 1596 Elizabeth 1 refused to spend any more money on it and after the union of the Scots and Englis...

The Angel of the North on a very frosty day, with a dusting of snow and a low sun which gave some nice light.
Berwick upon Tweed

Took the chance on the weather and drove over an hour up to Berwick upon Tweed, and I'm so pleased I did. Delightful, old, historic town with some brilliant views. I shall certainly revisit the place again in future.
Wansbeck River Mouth at Sandy Bay
มุมมอง 3937 ปีที่แล้ว
The mouth of the River Wansbeck in Northumberland UK at Sandy Bay. Just North of the mouth of the River Blyth Which can just be seen at one point in this video. I spent many times as a young boy on the sand dunes here whilst visiting my Aunty Pat's caravan, which is why I wanted to capture the place with my drone. Happy memories of happy times. Hope you enjoy it. Thanks for watching.

My latest visit to a castle in Northumberland, and what a brilliant place. Music by 2 Cellos, playing the theme from Game of Thrones.

At last I can see the flat roofed houses I worked on as an Apprentice Carpenter & Joiner. Putting up the roofs on them. Great memory’s. From the 60s. Will have to try and have a walk round there. Great memory’s of great people working on the site. Sadly most will no longer be here.
How to get there? I wish i can visit that beautiful castle 🙏❤️

Honest question ,, is it a decent place to live ?
Wey aye man!
Its twinned with Royston Vasey
Thank you Stu! Excellent channel. Exactly what I needed. Last here in 1978 at age five with plastic sword in hand, conquerer-turned-defender. Favorite castle of my grandparents, mom and aunt in mid-1950s.
Maybe a typo, but at 2"48, that's Edlingham, not Eldingham.
Well spotted sir
Great views. Well done.
Lovely shot of Alexandra Way at the beginning. I used to live there before we emigrated to Canada in 1974.
Amazing!
Sent you a text, please read. Take care of yourself x
wheres dunstanburgh ,ridley etc

What is your drone recommendation? Looks superb
Its Edlingham.
Nice video will help us decide what to explore next June. Music, though, dud get a but old.
Alnwick Castle and gardens. Bamburgh Castle and beach are a must. Northumberland has quite a history.🙂

Awesome :)😎👍
I live there
Anyone in 2020 I live Cramlington
some cracking footage ... I must get out more with mine ... how did you edit and put music on ...not got that far with mine yet
Thank you. I used Adobe Premiere Pro, which requires a subscription. The best free software I've heard of is Da Vinci Resolve. I need to get out with mine again too, it's been a while.
@@stulazonby3523 someone on a Facebook drone page has mentioned Resolve.. But my PC don't like it.. Nit sure if I have a good enough graphics card... Might try on the Wifies laptop
A decent graphics card is a prerequisite. If your drone is half decent and shooting in 2.7 to 4k footage, then you will need a decent graphics card. I bought a gaming pc and the editing still takes time.
I love this. I must learn some drone flying! Well done.
hello mate, just a quick question can you drive and park at longhoughton beach. cracking videos mate. ATB Pete
hell m8 at 1.33 into video there is a farm house in the distance ,we park on the pathway next to the farm
Great Video!
Amazing

Looks nicer from the sky
Thank you.
GOAT
Excellent, loved it. I droned sycamore gap too. Check it out. 😁
David Whytworth Thank you. I'm honestly still learning. I'd love to go back there again as it's such striking scenery and was a bit blustery when shooting my video. Yours of Sycamore Gap is also very good. If I get back up there, I'll certainly try some of your angles, very striking effect, so we'll done you too. Keep it up! Thanks again.
Absolutely amazing video with great soundtrack. Well done that man !
+Terry Egdell Thanks Terry, I try my best. Still learning about it though.
Amazing! Im from Crammy too, great vid.
+Radiant Silver Labs Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. 👍
Gonna watch this over and over, great channel, subbed. It is ironic when my friend sent me this I considered it one of the best channels on youtube, and I saw you have 12 subs. That goes to show how fair youtube is. Keep up the great work, Kielder forest/resevoir would be good.
+Radiant Silver Labs Thanks. Yeah I've thought of Kielder myself, just gotta hit lucky with the weather when I'm off work.
Nice
I live in cram
I didn't realise that there used to be castles at Mitford and Rothley, I knew about Rothley Craggs but not the castle. Another great video Stu keep them coming.
+trevor bailey Me either Trevor. I just searched for castles on Google maps and there they were! Glad you like the video.
Thanks for the lovely video. I visited my uncle in April 2016 and he brought my wife and me to see The Lady up close, she's spectacular, even more so from an aerial view. Greetings from Singapore.
+Erfendi Dhahlan Thank you for your kind words. I'm pleased you like the video and that it brought back nice memories for you.
Once again thanks for a great video Stu. I've taken a few visitors to walk around Miss Northumberlandia so I'm sure when they see this it will bring back some good memories.
+trevor bailey Thanks Trevor. Pleased it might put smiles on folk's faces. 👍
Another excellent video,Stu. Stunning scenery.
