I really wanna post a video this year but right now I’m working on job applications so this is nice motivation <3
i'm super happy to hear that! good luck on your applications <3
thank uuu i rlly rlly wanna get back into writing, and you appeared at the perfect moment!! you intrigued me with the graphic design too, i'll be definetly staying for a bit longer on your channel :]
thank you so much for the comment, i'm super happy you liked the video! and welcome to the channel, i hope you're gonna enjoy the videos in the future :)
I'm still on the stage of thinking about writing, but my perfectionism doesn't let me write shitty stories. Which is inevitable when you're just starting. Glad to hear you enjoy your own writing now, sounds like a dream to me :) All I ever wrote just looks so bland, and I can't get through it... Really trying to convince myself that a short silly story won't hurt anyone, and I don't need to write a whole giant book Wish you all the best! I went to read a few of your stories and enjoyed them <3
Ohhh i can relate in many ways! I hope this year will be the one you trust the process and just go with it! ☺️
i can totally relate to it! i'm a big perfectionist too, and sometimes it's really hard for me to let go of all the big ideas i have for myself. but i can also say that it's really worth it to just do things and grow from mistakes. sometimes i'm rereading some stories/sentences from one or two years ago and cringe so hard, but nobody will ever see them so who cares haha without them i wouldn't be where i am now, and now i know how to make them better so that's all that counts. wish you all the best and hope you'll be able to let go a little in the upcoming year :) i'm sure you're gonna write a lot of cool things and improve soon! and i really appreciate the comment and you being here <3
One thing I learned after writing for years is that writers tend to think that our own work is worse or more bland than it actually is. The reason is that since we know what is going on in the story, it doesn't seem as exciting to us.
I loved this video (specially this type where is a sit down with only voice). Ive been trying to get back into writing with my very busy schedule (college + work) so this tips are super nice! Great video.
i'm super happy you enjoyed the video! and i'm keeping my fingers crossed for you, i'm sure you're gonna write a lot of cool things on your own schedule. sometimes even a few sentences in notes on the phone add up to something in the end :) thanks for being here and good luck!
do you have any cool writing tips you like to use?
I loved the glass sound in this one!!
thank you so much! i love it too haha <3
so cool! you should be proud
it's so sweet that you're here! thank youuu <3
Do you ever write anything down on paper ? ( i like the glitter eye shadow !)👍
@@adrianparker-e9f thank you so much! i love this eyeshadow too haha as for the question, i love to write stuff on paper! it's definitely nice to escape technology and i find myself writing more freely and editing less than when using my laptop, so i do it pretty often :)
How long do you write for at a time ? ( when do you stop ?)
that really depends on my mood and energy. i like to start with a 30-minute session (like i share here) and then if i'm really in the flow, i continue to work on the story till my brain doesn't work anymore haha can be anywhere from 1 to 3 hours depending on the day
happy halloween everyone!!! can't believe i made it in time with this video haha hope you're gonna enjoy it <3 🔗download link for the wallpapers in the description :)
i watched two minutes of this, mind you, silent video having never seen your channel before and somehow immediately thought "oh god this feels polish are they polish" and then i looked at your name on your blog😭❤
hahah polishing intensifies
this video right here motivated me to study so much. i'm studying art history, and although i love my degree, i can't help but have the dream of pursuing a more artistic career, even though that's almost impossible for me. i've tried painting, dancing and more, but i had a literature class some years ago where my teacher would make us write a story each weekend, and the feeling of going in front of the class and reading what i curated for two days was so rewarding even though i wasn't the best in my class. expressing myself through words felt very liberating at that time where i was so isolated coming from another school and having no friends. unfortunately i read all my stories again the year after and i felt so ashamed for no reason that i threw my notebook in the trash, and i deeply regret it. i've been thinking of those days where i felt free in my mind, as if i was flying in the sky, and i honestly miss those days. however, that shame i felt a year ago still lingers deep in my heart, and it's hard to get rid of the judgement towards myself. i saw this video and i inmediately made an account on substack, and i'll start writing once the exams end with your company in the videos. sorry about the long paragraph, and i hope you don't find it annoying, i just felt nostalgic and inspired. wish you the best!!
are you kidding, of course i don't find it annoying! i can relate to you so much. last year i finished my bachelor's degree in business and i felt so unfulfilled that i started taking steps towards a more artistic career (and in the end started graphic design studies). even though i'm not sure about anything right now, i don't regret that decision at all because i've never been happier than now when i finally started embracing my artistic side. i used to carry a lot of shame about the things i create too, and i'm still learning how to heal from that. it's hard not to cringe at my old writing, drawings, or yt videos that are far from ideal haha but it's all a process and i'm learning how to accept all these parts of myself. i hope you will grow to accept yours too :) i wish you all the best with your writing and i'm super grateful for your comment! it's been a challenge to keep posting these videos, but getting to connect with lovely people like you is the biggest reward i could hope for <3 feel free to share your substack whenever you feel like it, i'd really love to see what you come up with!
In the Winter there, do you expect to see snow ? When will that come ?
i hope so haha usually it comes around december/january but you never know with the recent climate changes unfortunately
@@mariasartsss In my part of England, in recent years, there is very little snow in Winter. Maybe on one day ! There hasn't been much frost either, with the ground keeping soft. It's just wet and damp here, sometimes i can go through the Winter without wearing gloves !
couldn't be me, even though we don't have that much snow, it's always super freezing during fall/winter haha
@@mariasartsss I would prefer colder and dryer. There's something i like about sub-zero temperatures !
I love how calm this is; brought me a sense of peace
@@CyBon13 i'm so happy you liked it! thank you for being here and for the lovely comment :)
When i was younger my neighbourhood was going to be demolished by the authorities, so people moved out of their houses just leaving us, because my parent didn't want to move away. It was possible to go in all the empty houses and look around, which was a strange feeling, to be somewhere that was once busy and now silent.
@@adrianparker-e9f yeah, that sounds like an eerie experience. thanks for sharing, i hope your family is okay after all of this
This is a whole mood. I always wanted to do writing sessions and this video finally motivated me to do one. Thank you kind stranger.
thank you so much for your comment, i'm so happy i could help! feel free to share your work whenever you feel like it, i'm sure it's gonna be amazing :)
Interesting to see what the art scene looks like somewhere else. Would you say there are any 'distinctive' features of Polish art, design and writing ?
tbh i'm not sure. i feel like in this era when everything is easily accessible on the internet, the differences start to disappear as we take inspiration from other countries and vice versa. but maybe there are some features i just haven't discovered yet.
🍧
How far away from the sea do you live ?
i don't feel comfortable sharing that with you so please don't ask me super personal questions (place of living, height, where i am etc.). if that keeps happening, i'll just have to delete these comments so i wanted to give you a heads up. feel free to delete this comment if you'd like. thank you :)
@@mariasartsss I live in Hull, England, which is about 30km from the sea, although it is on a large river, River Humber, which flows into the North Sea. From 2001 to 2006 i did an art project where i put small pieces of artwork into glass jars and threw them into the river and waited to see if any of them were found. Places that i received replies from were along the East coast of England, Netherlands, Germany, Denmark and one from Sweden.
I am gonna start writing again after watching your videos

How far are you from the sea ?
thank you so much for these, they seriously help me so much lol
thank you so much for your message, your comment really made my day <3 i'm super happy you're here :)
Do you have parts of the story you are going to write, with an end in sight, before you start or does it just 'develop' as you go ?
i think it depends on the story. sometimes i have some 'flashes' of what will happen - a sentence someone will say or something someone will do - but overall i'm pretty bad at planning stories step by step. 99% of the time i have no idea how a story will end when i first start writing it haha but i think that's also what makes writing so fun for me. if i never know what's going to happen, it's almost as if i was reading it for the first time myself :)
i barely managed to record & edit this one today since i came back from vacation in the middle of the night and couldn't make it earlier this week, but fortunately it's here! i hope you're gonna have a wonderful session. lmk what you're working on if you want! i'd love to hear about it :) have a great week <3
I love your videos! I don't understand why they're not more popular
thank you so much for this comment and your support! it really means the world that you like them :)
Do you think that we should only write ( and create art ) about things that we experience our selves, that we see and here with our own eyes and ears ? And not what we see on the internet, TV, news etc.
my approach is to just create things i'm passionate about. it's easier to write about things i've seen or experienced, but i also love making up things as i go. i don't think it matters much as long as you have fun while creating stuff you love :)
What is your height ?
why are you asking that like a creep?
@@jimenjoyer8417 What physical characteristics about you affect your experience of life ?
@@adrianparker-e9f whaaat are you even saying man?????
@@adrianparker-e9f how does being a creep influence your everyday life???
@@jimenjoyer8417 If there was something about yourself that you could change, what would that be ? I would like to be a little taller ( being 170cm )
Is that in France ? What part ?
nope nope, that's Poland :)
If you were made of ice- cream, what flavour would you be ?
interesting question haha cookie flavor i guess
Are you in the attic ? ( is there a nice view ?)
yeah, it's pretty nice haha
Underrated
thank you! :)
What country are you in ?
i'm from Poland but currently on vacation in France :)
Do you make notes when you get an idea and write it up later ?
it really depends on the story. sometimes i don't have any ideas and i just sit down with a prompt (for example 'summer romance' in this video) and write whatever comes to my mind. other times i get an idea or a cool sentence comes to my mind and then i write it down to remember it later. i rarely plan everything from start to finish, i usually have a few words/sentences i want to use and let it flow from there :) i'm planning to make a video on my process in a couple of months so feel free to stick around if that's something you'd be interested in ;) thanks for the comment!
i can't believe we've just crossed the halfway mark on this writing series! so many hours, so many words and so many beautiful stories behind us already. and that's just the beginning... thank you so much for your support! every like and encouraging comment warms my heart and motivates me to keep going ❤ let's make the best out of the next half of the year! see you next week :)
