I've got a mondeo 2.2tdci from 2012. Its hard to turn the steering wheel compare to other cars and other brands. But i have no noise when im turning the steering wheel. Just bothers me that the steering is hard. So I changed the fluid and replaced with a new tank. No changes.......im dissapointed.
I don ´t have servo reservoir anywhere in bay is it electic?
Hello, can you please tell me what device go you use to connect the ECO to the PC?
ELM327 (usb) data cable and forscan software
@@JoeGTJ Is there a certain version of ELM327 that works on the Mondeo MK4? I have one that doesn't connect, however it works perfectly on the MK3 Mondeo and MK2.5 Focus
In my case this sound was made by tension pulley
I’m glad to find this video lol. Here was me thinking my auto box had gone 😂
Bitte, ich brauche eine Codeliste für den Ford Mondeo MK4 FL 2010-2014
yes so basically you didnt show up the process of fixing the issue which renders this video totally useless
Hi! Please help where can i find the filter?
You solve this?
Did you find out where the filter is and how to clean it?
Aliexpress
What's the point? What you doing
That was well informative cheers bro
Well, I had my servo pump and reservoir replaced, and because the Lauber aftermarket pump was starved of servo liquid, they concluded that the new reservoir was at fault and they put back my old reservoir which they said had no filter, and now the pump runs fine... But is it right to have a reservoir with no filter? Did the old one really had no filter?
So i need replace the pump?! Or only i must fill the deposit? Please You solve this? I have the same problem!
I have done that also. Now my steering rack is f€&# :)
Well, so far, my steering rack and steering pump have been working fine for over a year now, without the filter at the reservoir for the servo oil.
@@dani3l.grigoras You solved this problem bro ? I have the same problem with noise + hard steering. Changed the pump, reservoir and now mechanic tells me its rack. Im confused
@@3ztlgaming42 The car has been runing fine without the reservoir filter
What was the problem? Mine sounds similar and i thought turbo about to blow
Power steering pump 120%
Hi you commented on my post on talkford I have a whining noise between 2 and 3k rpm and you asked if it sounds like that! It sounds exactly the same as when you move the wheel and have the whine although I have checked the power steering fluid and it is full!
I replaced the power steering fluid, cleaned the filter in the bottle and the noise has gone.
How did you clean the filter in the bottle ?
You can clean it with a soft bristle toothbrush. I watched this video. Then removed the resovoir, gave it a good clean. Refilled with steering fluid. Noise gone completely. Good as new. Cheers for the vid mate
Hi! please help where can i find the filter?
How did u solve this then...
I replaced the power steering fluid, cleaned the filter in the bottle and the noise has gone.
How many liters did you use ? Thank you in advance
@BlueBirds Caravan Cleaning I replaced the pump. The oil and it didn't stop
@BlueBirds Caravan Cleaning so I ended up replacing another pump, and the complete steering rack

I have the same problem!

@@3ztlgaming42 You need to buy a new one reservoir(original brand new FORD - not expensive) and pull out the yellow filter from the reservoir, and throw it far away....that will be working again.... ;)
is it easy to pull out the filter?@@zsoltjankovics6568
???
Did you replace the accumulator?
Yes.
That's the best safeguard against pump failure. My 1986 & 1989 Pontiac 6000 STEs had this system. The 89 was purchased with a pump that had failed. Fortunately RockAuto had the pump/motor assembly with a new accumulator for ~$350
where is that cord to do this if you could help it would be awsome
