Great guitar and great video until the end when you said you were going to flip it for 150 % of what you paid for it . Fair enterprise and all but that’s just getting over on someone , don’t we have enough of that in this world ? At $1600 , everyone would be happy and it’s not a heavy hit on anyone . Oh well , I guess that’s where we’re at in today’s world . Sadly .

Lucilles...all Lucilles, Epiphones and Gibsons, they are unfortunately invariably boat anchors. It's hard enough to find a 335 in a tolerable weight, I've been lucky in 35 years to find 2 of them under 7.5 pounds. But add all the extra hardware, Varitone and stereo components, AND neglect to cut out the 2 f-holes and you're permanently stuck north of 8.5 lbs, and in most cases above 9 pounds. That's a deal breaker for me. But B.B. was 8 feet tall and 450 lbs, so no big whoop right?

I love mine! I like it better than my Les Paul Standard. It just plays better in my hands, and it has a wonderful punchy sound. Very bright. I think, over time, the SG Tribute will become what the LP jr is today.

I wanted an ES type guitar, the Gibson (i have the Victoria Standard) was too expensive, in my search i found an amazing Tokai UES180-PB in Pelham Blue, its a Japanese one, so more expensive (but not as much as a Gibson) and it's amazing. Tokai was new for me, but it competes without any problem with Gibson on everything, sound, feeling, finishing (the details are just perfect, better than my Gibson Standard on wich one there are 3 little defaults on the finishion, the Tokai is just 100%). A Les Paul still stays my favorite guitar, but after playing a "copy" that is cheaper but equal (maybe even better) on quality, I'll think twice if i ever wanna buy another one

I cannot wait to purchase one. Sold my D28 a few months ago. Went to my local Guitar Center today and tried a new D18 and new J45. Loved the J45. Don’t have the money just yet. Hopefully soon.

I was in the market for a used LP and while trying out a few, I saw the seafoam green Modern Figured. I wasnt a huge fan of the color and I am not the only one cause that color was on clearance and I ended up buying it for $1950. Definitely a little more than I wanted to spend but I figured I was getting more than what was in the used LPs that I was looking at and it was new. Definetly not disappointed, it sounds great and the color is growing on me.

I actually preferred the sound of these ceramics when I compared them to the Alnico HBs in the Classic Vibe Tele Custom, especially when overdriven. To each his own, I guess...

Yeah, piezo guitars have to go through full range amplification to sound good. No surprise there. Personally I've gone the Helix/Variax route, and I can have pretty convincing acoustic sounds by just writing the right preset. I can go from LP through Marshall and Martin through studio preamp on the same preset, using snapshots.

It's not a gimmick man lol.. It's a tool that's meant for certain players, and not necessarily for everybody. There are applications in which having this thing would be a life saver. Having the ability to run separate outputs is great. You could run the Piezo through an acoustic pre if you wanted to to warm it up and give it a more acoustic quality while not having that effect your electric sound, and you can run the electric output through your amp rig or effects that that you might not want to have on the Piezo. Awesome if you have songs with distinct acoustic and electric parts. I don't know that I'd ever blend the piezo with the humbuckers honestly.

With the quality of Epiphone, Ibanez, etc, No, I don't see any reason to pay that much. I have a 2010 indonesian Dot and it plays wonderful, sounds wonderful.

I use one with my fractal Fm9. plug both in and choose scene to mute the acoustic when you have a solo or mute the electric during an intimate acoustic part. easy peasy.solved :-)

The one that stays in tune is the best guitar.

You don't need any of this bullshit. All you need is stereo chorus and a volume pedal. It's all in how you accent the notes with your finger picking and rocking that volume pedal. I've played this song for decades and it sounds just like what Lindsay does on the record. Learn to actually play guitar before you get into all this electronic bullshit and you will be a better musician.

A new studio is €1700 which is €1000 cheaper than a Standard. That’s the main difference! Is body and neck binding really worth that?

This and the Les Paul Special are the two best value for money guitars available right now. Quality at Epiphone has skyrocketed.

I just picked one up from my local PRS dealer. I cashed in on “said sale”. I love mine. I got the black gold burst and the flame top and back on my guitar is beautiful. I did have to adjust the trim pot on the piezo output because it was set to 100% volume from factory and was louder than the magnetic pickups. I purchased the guitar after trying an American Acoustasonic. Now that guitar is garbage. They should take them off the market. I returned the guitar because it raddled when played acoustically. I think the whole circuit board vibrates when played. The guitar neck dived when I took my hands off the neck. Now, I can’t believe I bought a Chinese made guitar, but the quality and playability blows away the Acoustasonic. My reason for the purchase was I wanted a more versatile guitar to play both acoustic and electric sounds for my Acoustic Trio band. I use the mix output jack and connect my pedal board through a DI straight into my PA. I get a good distorted and acoustic sound.

Sorry, me again! I like the look of these, never had one, but again, boring, demo of a guitar on overdrive like that makes it sound like all the others. How does this one sound like clean?
