nothing more than a backdoor entry to IIT, having contributed not even as much as a safety-pin to Bharat, , in-breeding its own students whose greatest achievement is becoming a prof back at the same place, feeding off the taxpayer year on year for over 50 years, IDC is byfar the biggest academic scam of our country. Just when I thought I couldn't get worse, here they are, themselves proclaiming their own ignoramuses masquerading as professors as "the best designers"!!! IDC has as much to do with design as Hamaas as to world peace... I say this with all the integrity I can muster, having been both a BTech student at IIT Bombay and very briefly, a faculty at this banality called IDC.

This is so great! thankyou for documenting the roots and the history, I will be joining IDC soon in August. Can't contain the excitement :)

Great experience listening to Sreekumar, who is one of the modern flag bearers of a tradition that used to be flourishing in India but which was languishing during the colonial period. May he and his colleagues at IDC be able to lead us to a renaissance in quality design!

So talking about that, what about engineering graduates who are keen into UX and product and might have had a tiny bit of industry experience maybe in the form of freelance or internships. For an engineering graduate it might possibly appear pretty overwhelming. Is it registered and considered from that perspective during the interviews ?? Would love to know

Where is episode 2

Due to coronavirus pandemic, the DAT for MIT is going to be online, which means that no drawing questions will be there , i guess. Only quiz. Then how are we supposed to prepare for it?? What will the marking distribution?? Since, the sample paper is of 2016.

Such amazingly experienced and seasoned designers from such highly reputed institutes sharing such lovely ideas about the great work of visual communication, story telling and character design. I would love to experience the characters and their stories through the visual product designed by such great stalwarts, that are yet invisible and imaginary!!!

Actually I wanted to Persue career in Video and Film Design so what should be the portfolio I should be submitting which fits the requirements and also shows my creative abilities. And my exam is on 9 may which will be online(edat) so what should be preperation done for it to score good 😊
