Similar to me there was this game called Power Rangers Battle for the Grid. 3v3 fighting game that I played as a joke and I realized the game was much deeper than I thought. Eventually it grew to me playing the game for hours and hours everyday, constantly practicing and playing online. I was becoming an addiction to me as I played Smash games locally so I would attend tournaments for Smash games and Battle for the Grid. I noticed I was becoming more toxic and becoming ever more frustrated at my losses. In less than a year I had played over 2k hrs on Battle for the Grid and it came to the point I was playing against professional players daily and was ranked world wide. I’m glad that I was top 25 at something worldwide but my hand pains, sleepless nights, eye pains from staring a screen for hours on end, all while maintaining a full time job and school it was incredibly bad for my physical and mental health. I’m doing much better now that I’m just playing games for fun (like Wiz!) instead of playing games as a second job lol

Happened to me with Valorant since I played 3 k hours CS:GO being global and an amateur professional, I got into valorant. I experienced exactly the things like you and after I quit Valorant my mental health improved A LOT. That’s why the only game I play is wizard pve. Life’s about more man.

i play pvp but since i’m not too good i try not to stress out about it, i haven’t really played this game at all in the past month. Been enjoying playing other things.

I stopped PvP for that reason, now I just play advance and PvE. Enjoy maximizing other parts of the game such as gardening and organizing lol 😊

i had a similar issue with a game that will not be named. i crashed out over it and realized how bad it was for me so i uninstalled it and quit, but my friends keep trying to drag me back to the game which worked once or twice for about an hour before i remembered why i quit and removed it again. my friends know my reactions to the game but they encourage me to play anyway. sometimes you have to be careful who you surround yourself with too.

You're a real one for thugging out 75 matches as one of the worst schools. PvP has always been like pulling teeth in Wiz

last time I played Wiz the level cap was 100 and I'd just grinded the Kan Davasi gear. Watching this was like another language lol I like the change to the turn system in PvP, also nice win. If you didnt have 2k more HP and those monks at the end it wouldve been much closer

Gardening, is the best feature, that the devs added to the game. I am a proud gardener.

Making a uni stat pet for pvp, was very lengthy because of my lack of perception, I needed to pay more attention to what i was doing.

Yo if you use OBS to record there is a way to adjust your microphone so it won't pick up your keyboard clicks, same with mouse clicks but those are much louder so it's usually easier to just get a "silent click" mouse. This is the first video I've seen, hope that helps a little!

19:00 I tried out Wizards and got the same impression that I do from most older MMOs communities. Maybe I was unlucky with the communities I came across, but the game state seemed unhealthy from the outside looking in. Most people only had negative things to say about the game and seemed severely overinvested- knowing everything about everything. Which would be fine, but without prompt players were listing their in-game acomplishments at me. Almost to make a point of saying they're better players, which was strange as I was clearly new. I feel most people who play these older mmos are victims of the sunk cost fallacy; following a complex addiction often for the wrong reasons. A lot of people earn something they perceive to be valuable, whether it is or isn't, then run around the in-game starting town or main hub to subtly brag about their achievements. Almost to exercise a superiority complex, which is inherently pointless as most people don't tend to care. But for the player, Its a competitive dopamine rush, that becomes a drug like fix; most players have convinced themselves that's its okay to show off their hard work never realising that they're now playing the game for the wrong reasons and are hardly even enjoying the game. These same players seem to try and justify their own time wasting, weather by flexing or seeking validation from others. This validation is usually obtained by belittling others and their perceived accomplishments calling some content hard and other content not. The result is normal players leave the game, usually those who were playing for the right reasons and those who remain tend to be addicts playing for the wrong reason. I am not saying every player is like this, but from my experience the vast majority who I personally interacted with seemed to be. That was my experience of Wizard, not sure if there's any validitiy to it. But I doubt I'll give it another go after my first interaction. Thank you anyway for the video!
