Have a 5yr old ulterra 80lb thrust 24v. Recently replaced remote Control the only problem now it intermittently doesn't respond to left arrow inputs (right arrow perfect) this gets me in panic when it doesn't respond quickly. Anchor mode seems to work fine. Also hed new gps head replaced. Still have left arrow problem Please help.

Does minn kota have a part number for the cable management piece?

What is the Watt power of the transducer of the helix 9 model ? 2. What is the maximum depth you can search the bottom with this unit in salt water ? 3. Must the side view transducer be purchased seperatly ?

I would imagine that you have seen just about every Minn Kota service problem. In fact deep into your video you explained how the motor can wind up in its cradle in a vertical position but with knowhow, there is a way to rectify this problem. Well, I am the benefactor of your vast experience and can thankfully say," I fixed it using your methods." Teaching is an art and you are a true artist!.

Hello, great film and congratulations on the great catch. I saw in the film that you are not using the "Humminbird Target Lock" with the "MK Ultrex". You have attached the "HB Target Lock" to the side of the boat and are not using an "HB Ultrex" motor. I am also thinking about whether I should carry out a similar installation in my boat with my "MK Terrova". I would like to ask whether the normal functionality of the "HB Target Lock" remains the same with a different motor such as an "MK Terrova". For example, whether this "HB Target Lock" continues to track the target if the boat is moved to another location. Or are there functional problems because no "MK Ultrex" is being used? When I first got the Mega Live I did the update for my Helix 12 Si G4N and the Mega Live at that time. First time out we were seeing fish swim around in a deep hole in the river by us. I think I have done four updates and Mega Live is now on 1.300. I bought a Helix 10 Di G4N and Network Hub. So now I'm not seeing much on Mega Live. I do see what look like fish sometimes fade in and out. We are trolling for salmon using 11" Pro-Troll Flashers and they barely show up too. I know it is the flashers because they rotate in a 360 rotation. Coho Salmon in the area and we didn't see one fish on last trip. We fished the Columbia River and seen what had to be several salmon but they were real faint fading in and out. I have tried all the settings. Watched TH-cam videos and tried suggested settings. One problem with TH-cam is a lot of the videos had previous updates and 1.300 has changed the settings a bit. Any suggestions that would help? I have my Helix 12 Si G4N, Mega Live and Helix 10 Di G4N all on the Humminbird Hub. Should I change the order of the devices. I think right now have have in the order of Helix 12, Helix 10 and Mega Live on third port. I have mainly used the Forward Mode at 60 degrees.

As an Ulterra owner, I have also ran into my share of "moments" with this motor. This is the best video for trouble shooting that I have watched on TH-cam. Thank you very much...

I have a Garmin ECHOMAP UHD2 touch screen with clearvu and sidevu and 56 transducer can I hook it up to the transducer on the terrova 12 volt advanced GPS

Wow.....Something as simple as losing power can cause this headache to a nearly 3000 dollar trolling motor? If I get one of these, I guess I've got some studying to do if I wanna upgrade from my Terrova.

Trying this step by step… not working. Helix 10, mega si. Currently have 2.280, trying to update to newest. My unit isn’t automatically updating. Using a 16mb mini sd with adapter.

This was a great video with good tips. Perhaps you could me with a motor that is stuck in the “stowed” position. The motor got deploy while still in the transport brace.

Your video is helpful. Perhaps those looking to copy or backup cards would find the process easier if you renamed the AC cards in the directory as AC Old AC New or something to that effect. Also, it helps to not say 'this card' and instead use the term 'old card, new card' so we know *exactly to which card you are referring. I have seven years of charting to back up. Let's hope the process goes easily.

Hello, my issue is the remote is saying "stowed position" I push deploy and it has that message and the red light is on. Any suggestions? Thanks

I have a new Lund Pro V with a 9.9 kicker. Taking the throttle handles off the boat to get wires through it insanely crazy hard - I had to walk away from it twice before I got it bach in. There are so many things like this that Lund could do to make it simpler to rig their boats. I have had 4 Lunds since 2011 - I think next time it will be a Warrior

Interesting how everyone here seems to complain about Humminbird but my experience is exactly the opposite my ULTREX has worked perfectly ever since it was installed and my Helix, SOLIX and MegaLive work flawlessly. Of course I have everything installed by arguably the top boat electronics guys in the country who do lots of pro boats and I can see my bait and fish clearly without issue. My buddy is a guide here and he has Garmin and been on my boat and says it looks pretty much the same ...
