Yzhsj I love you so much and I hope you have a wonderful day too and I hope that 🎉😂😮😢😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I used to go through that lane every morning before getting to school in the 90s. Often I'd hang back to finish my cigarette before coming out the other side of the lane and crossing the road to go into my school right there.
Had me baffled there, geography was wrong! Its The Kelvin Pathway, north of the Balmuildy woods! Theres no paths in the woods themselves, but its quite open in nature with plenty of wildlife including Roe deer. The Forth & Clyde runs along its southern edge with a proper towpath, just beware when nearing Lambhill....Commanche country fella!

Thanks for showing finlay drive where my late aunt and uncle used to live that junction used to be open a long time ago

I lived at St George’s in the Field in the mid 90s and can remember wanting through the projects opposite with that first person perspective exactly. Thanks.
Just came across this good to see Thanks
It's 2024 and I'm the first one watching this clip 😮
Watching in 2024 😊
People in England still think The Gorbals is packed with insanitary tenement blocks from the 19th century, but this image is 70 years out of date. Went through The Gorbals last month and it's mostly like this video.
Was born in Kirkland Street 1961 live in England (London) 40 years when I visited Maryhill it struck me like an English suburb empty and quiet sad
I was on Glasgow Green yesterday and could see across to The Gorbals. Mostly blocks of flats and not the place many people in England think of, like teeming Victorian tenements and pubs.
I grew up in latherton Drive then moved to maryhill Road 👍👍
A898 To Maryhill & Mango
i was born iand bred n KP miss it the way it was ,,, good people ,mostly then
I was in Wester Cleddens Primary, Bishopbriggs in 1976...seeing this video is very nostalgic...btw the Post Office at 3.00 mark used to be a Stakis Steakhouse
You cycled right past my Late Grannys in Carlibar Ave fond memories of visiting there as a child
Lived in trossachs st,went to Springbank and nth kelvinside schools ,jags my team left in 1961 loved maryhill

Wrong railway tunnell if your from maryhill youll know thats not the miley "fact" the miley is the ome thats at the back of the bingo hall on craigmont drive across from tesco on maryhill rd it ends in ruchill gilf course theres another tunnel stsrts near where the miley ends probably the most infamous one called the"haloween pen" legend has it someone was murdered there long long time ago on haloween hence the name theres also the darkys tunnell in the kelvindale area that opens onto the river kelvin at skaethorn rd aquaduct ill be posting proper names to my walks through tje old tunnels when the weathers better so keep an eye out in utube

might be helpfull to put the street names up for the older people as springburn today does not remotely look like springburn of the fifties and sixties.. just a point
I used to stay in Kinning Park back in the Day facing the Red Lion Pub, really handy for the Town and Ibrox Park if like me you support Rangers 😊 🇬🇧😎
good to see the Barras again went down there every Saturday. good day out.
A friend in the forces from Glasgow was telling me about this place, he was not joking.
What have we allowed 😢this is sad one of the biggest no where, were there a market the brigget aw wk couldn't move at Barras Saturday, Sunday take bk our barras ❤✌💪
Where is this loch? Born in easterhouse dont remember a loch called that?
What happened? Was there in the eighties you couldn't get moving?
I live here
I used to live on tambowie street 20 some years ago, its a completely different world there now, this is all "new builds" (considering this video is 3 years old now), that park was a no go area, as were most of the surrounding streets, it was rough as fuck and over run with neds carrying blades
I hated to see the end of the series. Loved all the episodes. Wished they would go on forever.
Not the same 😢😢
A very boring walkway.
Not even renftew lol
Grew up there in the 60's/70s, Huxley Street and Smeaton Street.
