I was about the patient’s age the last time I had a thorough physical like this. It seems that doctors are afraid of touching their patients out of fear of a lawsuit or something. I personally have no problem with doctors having to touch me during examinations or procedures. They are professionals. What the doctor did in this video was no different than what a mechanic would do with a car by lifting the hood and putting it on the hoist to make sure everything is safe and in running condition. If anyone runs into a doctor who’s this thorough during a physical examination; hold onto him. That’s good old fashioned medicine. …and yes the doctor and the patient were really cute.
He’s using too many clinical terms that most patients aren’t going to understand - say digestive system instead of GI and tapping instead of percussive. He seems like he’s over rehearsed

Do you know why you’re here today?” Or, “What do we have you down for today?” This gives the patient the opportunity to _participate_ and that it’s something they can end at any time.
