WTP is an arts academy, nonprofit organization. It offers weekly classes and performance opportunities year round for students Pre-K through 12th grade. Founded in January 2012 and bringing programming to the metro west area in May of that year, they have produced a multi-show season and classes ever since.

Wellesley Theatre Project empowers youth with life skills learned through exceptional performing arts education, and then challenges them to become citizen artists - improving the quality of life in their local and global community by emphasizing collaboration, cultural and social understanding.
