How to Bind a Quilt - Fork Mtn Quilting Tutorial
This is a very helpful video for getting started on a temperature quilt. Thank you!
I have seen several videos on doing this and yours is hands down the best explained one I’ve watched. Thank you for showing this!
How do I make the star on top?
Thank you! So much easier to follow than written instructions!
I got lost on the stitch in the ditch part, so I had to rewatch at a lower speed. Wouldn't it be easier to use fusible batting? Thanks for a great design!
I guess you could put on only 3 or 4 layers to make a more traditional tree too!
Fabulous tutorial thanks.
Got It. Thanks.
Good tutorial but the music is awful
Классно! Жаль что не знаю языка. (Учила в школе немецкий).
I am also working on this tree pattern. When it comes to the template #1 I can't find any suggestions on how to finish. The direction are not clear. Is there anyone that can explain?
that fabric is beautiful! you did a great job
One needs to trace the star onto card stock & cut out. Then trace and cut out 2 stars from double sided fusible interfacing. Then trace and cut out 2 stars from fabric. On one side layer the star, then fusible interfacing, then fabric and press with warm to hot iron to fuse the layers together. Repeat this on the other side of the star card stock. I used fabric glue to attach the star to the tree. This is how I did it, hope it helps somewhat.
Ate they half hexagons?
Horrible directions on this pattern. How do you finish the top triangle?

Great video😍
I didn’t understand step 10 and 11… it is very confusing!!!
Thank you for these easy to follow instructions. I've made my first table runner which I'm very proud of. Couldn't have done it without you. Hope you are still going to add more ideas to inspire us all !!??
Why do you stack 6 fabrics when the block uses 5 fabrics. What do you do with the sixth pieces of fabric?
How do you sew the top/final layer (ie the pointy bit), please? That's the one bit I can't easily fathom and would have been extremely useful. It's quite small and you also need to be able to sew it without sewing in the bits below it, then turn it right side out, AND for it to still be pointy! I'm foxed! 😢 TIA for any guidance.
Great tutorial.
Oh my goodness! This is awesome! Great explanation! Thank you!
I just ordered this pattern. Thank you for the informational video. I, like others, want to know about the top piece and star.
It can be a simplier tutorial if you just sewed the strips that need the 2 1/2 inch squares?
I started this and forgot to turn my fabric over to cut and messed up on a cut. Thanks for the video. I'm pulling it off the back burner and finishing it!
I made a mistake. I cut the #3 arc wrong. Forgot to cut the 1/2 inch off the before cutting arc. Of course this was in the stack of fabrics. How can I fix this? I hate to waste a whole stack of fabrics. I tried just cutting a single arc, not enough leftover fabric to arc it correctly.
This tutorial is awesome!! Thanks😊❤
Thank you! Great tutorial. I have pattern but being shown is much better!
So beautiful. I like your video. You're easy
Not easy for absolute beginners
Excellent video
This was a very good video! Thank you so much!
what is the knob on the ruler? I think I need one of those
thank you for this wonderful video- may your bobbin always be full in the future lololol
This video is invaluable!! Thank you for your clear, detailed, information on how to sew these arcs together!! I’m in the process of making this pattern and thanks to you I understand how to tackle this. Also, the squaring up of the blocks! Thank you so much!!
Why is it just a skinny slither of a video and not the whole screen? Plus, yes the music is too loud.
Thank you for a GREAT tutorial!!! Your directions are SO easy, and you make it look like such a FUN project!!! I can't wait to make one of my own❣️😊
Looks so fun! Love pumpkins. 🎃
I did the charm bag today. Thank you folks
OK the iron is hot with steam or what? Good to see your tutorial Melissa at Fork Mtn.
Great tutorial Melissa at Fork Mtn.
Where the fabric is the same, could you use a strip or do you have to use squares?
You could, however that would not be best practice, due to it being a grid system. Thank you for watching and the great feedback.
Just happened onto this turtorial. I absolutely LOVE IT! You are a great teacher! I love a challenge and I definitely want to try this. THANK YOU SOOOOO much for sharing this.
I’m sorry but I think the trees on the one fabric are sewn upside down
Love the tutorial Miss Patty. I couldn’t have got my zipper on without you.
I love this!!
Is it possible to still order that gorgeous fabric?
Excellent exercise tutorial~~all that walking! Love the pattern.💕💕💕
do you still have kits available for the temperature quilts? thank you, Karen Sorenson
Hey Melissa thanks for this awesome video! Wish it had been available when I put the borders on my first quilt a couple of months ago lol but now I have this great information for my next quilt. Thanks for sharing!
