Sharks were at almost every fishing spot. This one hooked itself grabbing one of our fish on the line. Looks like a sandbar shark. What do you think?

A few weeks ago I installed a Motorguide Xi5 80lb thrust, 24V, 60" shaft on my 2017 Suntracker 22 foot Fishin Barge. I have two group 31 Exide batteries installed in the rear of the boat. I ran this trolling motor for about 5 hours today. It only used 10% of the batteries. It handled the current and winds very well! We caught a few keeper trout and a pompano. GREAT VIDEO I have the same pontoon as you and im getting ready to pull the trigger on getting a motorguide xi3 i was wondering if the trolling motor interferes with the trailer winch post, do you remove motor prior to putting boat on trailer

Thanks for posting this. I'm currently looking into getting a trolling motor for my 26' pontoon and was wondering how an 80lb thrust motor would handle wind and choppy water. I plan on using the boat only on freshwater lakes, but nice to see that the motor can handle saltwater conditions as well. Is there a reason you went with Motir Guide vs Minn Kota?
Almost purely for the price. I've had no problems with it after about a year of good use. Best addition to my boat by far! This trolling motor holds me on the spot and even right next to bridge piling in strong current.
