I could have bought a set of these for $5 bucks at a retirement community yard sale. I Had no idea how good they are at the time, a few months later I found out.

Recording the speakers through a microphone, then playing it via youtube and possible compression, and me playing the video with the headphones jack to my stereo. Still I get the sensation that these speakers sound absolutely beautiful. Good choice of the music,,, Round midnight. 🙂

It is too bad that whomever owns this, set it up on top of a couple of manufactured, glued together 4X4 chunks of uglier than ugly pine lumber. The ugly chunks of wood beneath the system acting as pedestals, completely detracts from the overall look. My gosh, a person spends most likely 10s of thousands of dollars on the Paragon system alone and then cheaps out on the support blocks. I'm a cabinet maker and it wouldn't have cost more than a couple of hundred bucks to have a local cabinet shop build him a few support blocks underneath that work of art. Sounds impressive though.

I always hear classical or jazz at low to modest volume in hifi presentations. I want saxophone, electric guitar and female voice at high volume to judge how good a system is. To me, that’s how the shortcomings are revealed. In the mids.

I saw one of these in a house in Jackson NH a few years ago.

Wow ... Heard one of these years ago and it was the worst thing I ever did in hifi ... It made MY system sound like a portable radio ... I wanted one so bad but the wife n money said No ... Awesome speaker and furniture
