I keep going back and forth between the two. Initial thoughts are the TP5x might be a better ball in the spring and fall and play the Diamond during the summer during dryer conditions, but I still need to do some testing.

You can run each them independently, honestly all I really use is FSX 2020, FSX Play is newer but in 2020 you can get better comparisons on golf balls and if working on different shots, your able to group things together and compare as whole

It’s almost done lol, it’s been crazy hot out lately, all that’s left is the driver, wedge and irons are done

I have the tour BX vs TP5x vs x star diamond vs chrome tour x coming soon, just need to complete the driver portion. I was a left dash player last year and switched to standard pro v1. When I couldn’t find the left dash but the TP5x is really starting to grab my attention

The big thing that kept me off the tp5 was the low spin around the greens, but I played with one yesterday and really liked it. I am going to be getting out on the course soon and doing some testing on the grass to see how it compares to the mat.

@@BabinGolf they aren’t still making them, but plenty of people are still playing them (even Rory up until a couple months ago). ‘21 model spun too much off the driver for me

@@Kevin-qy9wf I love how they have been pushing it as it’s Rory’s ball yet he is still using the old version. The new version the more and more I test it is such a hot ball, it spins a little to low for me, but I’m gonna get out on the course soon with the Quad and do some testing on the course to see to see how the numbers differ from off the mat

I thought the same thing, lower spin is great for tour players or more advanced players, but higher handicappers and slower swing speed need the spin

@@tannerjennings5304 my local walmart in ohio has tp5x on rollback for $19.99. It's 100% an employees error. But it's been like that for nearly 8 months with no change. Theyre always sold out but randomly theyll put 1 or 2 on the shelf. Also, I buy used tp5x on facebook marketplace for practice rounds and use new tp5x for tournaments. Approximately 75 cents per ball on fb marketplace.

I’ve never seen them priced that low. Usually low $30s per dozen.

I placed three stickers on each side of the stack. When I placed the sticker up, like if the sticker was pointing towards the sky, I would get no reads. When I pointed the sticker forward, just like it is on a club, I did not get any no reads. I did get one waggle misread, but I just continued with my swing and it picked up that swing no issues. Were you placing the sticker up or forwards like on a golf club?

Hey Daniel, I just have the GC3 connect to my router via WiFi on the GC3, the software picks up the GC3 on my network and connect to my computer like that. Then I just an HDMI cable from my computer to the projector, let me know if that makes sense or if you have any questions

@@BabinGolf ok. I think I get it. So the GC3 doesn't need the internet for anything other than verifying the account at start up and stuff? The USB is sending the data to the computer and the computer's graphics card is sending that to the projector (in my case the TV)via HDMI. The WiFi connection instead of Ethernet isn't causing any lag or issues then, it looks like. I'll try disconnecting the Ethernet and turning on the GC3s WiFi.

The Callaway ball are the same less spin go further

I haven’t really messed with it yet, what don’t you like about it?

It misses a lot of swings and It requires you to be quite still to arm. Nothing more frustrating then having it not trigger during a speed training session

Were you using it with a club or a training aid? I was hoping it worked with the the speed sticks.

@@BabinGolf I used it with the stack. I tried various number of v stickers around the head. It just sucks. Fixable through firmware no doubt. But I won’t bother until I see a firmware improvement

I will have to check that out, I have been looking at picking up a swing speed training device, do you like the Stack System?

Thank you! I have some Callaways I am going to be testing as soon as they update the FSX2020 software for the Quad Max, currently it only works for Play and I can't do any comparisons on there. My trial ended for the GC3. I have never played Srixon or Bridgestone Balls, do you have any suggestions?

The srixon z star diamond balls are fantastic. They tend to perform in the distance category quite well.

Thank you so much! I probably will do another test for driver only with these balls on the Max but currently it doesn’t support FSX2020 only FSX Play and you can’t do any comparisons on Play yet. I spoke with tech support at Foresight and they are telling me it will hopefully be updated in about 3 weeks.

I would put the chrome tour up against the prov1. I compared both and picked the chrome tour over the prov1

What did you like better about the chrome tour?

@@BabinGolf I liked the feel a little bit better. Subjective but it fit what I like to feel. Hard to judge but hit about 10 with each ball into a head wind and right to left wind. I felt the chrome tour held up better. Spins rate were about the same and I was getting lower ball flight on short irons with the chrome tour and higher ball flights with the longer irons. Prov 1 was longer on average by a yard with the driver. Just my testing I know everyone is different. For reference driver average carry is around 305 and 7 iron (34degree T100) is around 195.

I will have to throw those in the for testing as well. I used to love Callaway balls back in the day, specifically the warbirds the original from like 2005ish but never really played them recently, It will be good to see if we can get them back in the rotation.

That ball really surprised me, I have some from last year when I was looking at them, I think I will do an video to compare the old ball to the new one.

I was able to download it from their website, but that was a while ago, not sure if it has changed. Are you a member of the discord group?
