Lmao I’m like you. Bought beautiful classic AK, then bought a short quad rail zpap for tactical purposes, now I’m on my third which is just an m70 with an mlok hand guard since I feel a little to big for the zpap

and after you buy the 45 round mags you buy another ak, to put a bypod on to use as a semi auto mashine gun.. and then at some point you find a rpk on the internet and get all the paper work done... and then you think damn... i own a mashine gun... I GOTTA GET MOR MAG-

Im 52 years old, this video was hilarious to me…you see, i am one of those guys that was able to buy these mags for $1 each from 95-2002, people looked at me crazy, my friends called me unamerican…i just had a hunch, since even back then, colt ar mags were very collectible…at one point I had 15000 russian and east german bakelites….of every capacity…saiga 12ga mags, for $1….some i got for less than a dollar through estate sales, gun shows-when they used to be good…garage sales…word of mouth, before internet ruined collecting, mainly social media like youtube… Then, i started selling them around 2014 as the market was picking up, $40-$45, a few people were buying, here and there this was right after first round of crimean sanctions…probably sold 500 that year, regretted selling them because i loved having a massive collection. I was still buying more from people, more auctions, more estate sales…i probably bought 1000 more between 2014 and 2016, most i would pay would be $38-$40 for pristine, new examples. Then, i wanted to get into transferable machine guns in 2016, as i was making great money in my day job, working for FAANG tech companies and i wanted to fund that and thin my collection. So i sold around 3500 magazines between 2016-2021, average about $65…my average cost per mag was about $5…and then new russian sanctions hit, combination of all the call of duty generation millenials and younger started following their favorite guntubers (free promotion for me) and the market exploded…2021 i was selling mags, tac swap, gb, gun shows, gafs, $99, $150 for new old stock, im selling them local to gun dealers, everyone is wanting these things…kids who couldnt afford rent are lining up to throw money at me, stimulus checks hit…and im making $$250k in mag sales in a year, that cost me $7500….i sold 12,500 russian/east german mags between 2021 and today….and i guarantee, if you have a russian mag, i laid my hands on it. I was wholesaling them to website resellers for $70 to cut out fees and time…they sold em to you for double…i would have minimum orders of 100, done…my initial investment of around $45k, netted me $1.3m I had retired from tech right after covid rally hit on tech stocks, my rsu’s skyrocketed and left the mag business, i do only transferable mg’s now. Its the last bastion of gun collecting that hasnt been able to be tainted yet, because the barrier to entry is too high for average people…who fawn over cheap, poorly constructed bakelite mags that they dont use, because they self destruct as they were meant to be disposable… This video popped up into my feed and it made me chuckle…$600 gun, $3500 in mags… Thank you guys for making my dreams come true. I will give you some free advice…dont hang on to them for too long…russian sanctions wont last forever, the minute those sanctions go away, the AK market is sunk, because there are millions upon millions of russian and chinese ak’s in the world, that are waiting to be brought in, that i know personally people in other countries who have warehouses full, waiting for their own retirement windfall…it just will take a couple decades…you guys will be my age, thinking your sitting on a goldmine of rare ak magazines,parts and aks….and boom…flood gates are open…you should move on to transferables in 20 years, when im 72 and i want to leave my grandkids a bigger trust fund

You know nothing about rifles. What garbage. There are some that are poorly made, but 2 of the best are zastava and norinco, which have lasted far longer than my ruger 556 rifle. Get an education.

Here in America. The 7.62 ak is the best Ak. Ammo everywhere, parts everywhere, and breaking through cover is badass. I have a 7.62 ak with wood furniture and a magpul lower half hand guard. Getting an ak74 wouldn’t make sense for me at all… Anyways my brother and I are getting matching ak74s with plum furniture

The size of the AK stock isn't so much because the Russians are shorter, but that it was designed for people wearing body armor.

For 100 bucks it's a great deal. Just screw that pad back in or glue it on 😎👌

Thats how i feel about nfa accessories. You then buy suppressors for every gun and barrels to accommodate them. holsters to put them in. Ammo for maximum shush. Muzzle devices. Tax stamps each time.

7.62x39 is an older style of cartridge, it's concept comes from ww2, it's certainly dated but you see some regressing towards it with .300 blk. I think stopping power is coming back in the irl meta, level 4 plates will stop civilian 556, they'll stop 762 too but it'll break a few more ribs... just saying it's not popular for no reason

Awesome that you show people. I said if i get one then i would do it. But here it is. Care to share the site you ordered from? Some are sketchy. I also noticed that the inside of the box was blue and says: "5KU". So if it was folded inside out itd be that lol. So id assume VERY similar

Buy more Ammo, but keep the same caliber. Keep all you Magazines Loaded, Empty Mags are like Dead Power Tool Batteries, Useless when you need them.
