Chile wildfire - blaze turns sky red after being started deliberately

A wildfire that is thought to have been started deliberately has turned the sky red over Chile and forced people to flee their homes. Authorities say at least ten houses in the Valpraiso region have been engulfed by the flames that have been sweeping through the forest area near Quilpue city. No deaths or injuries have been reported.
The officials ordered the evacuation of some 25,000 residents and hundreds of firefighters were deployed to help battle the fires. People have been told not to return to their homes until they are told the area is safe. Emergency authorities said the fires have blazed through some 400 hectares of forest, with firefighters concentrating their efforts on four focal points.
A local government official said authorities believe the wildfires were started deliberately. A chinook helicopter carrying tonnes of water has been deployed in an attempt to extinguish the fire from above. The buildings that have been destroyed so far include four houses and six cabins at a recreational center. Two warehouses have also been affected.
The area has been devastated by wildfires in the past. In January 2017, the worst wildfires in living memory burnt through the whole of Chile and killed at least 11 people, five of whom were firefighters. In 2019, 200 homes in the port city of Valparaiso were destroyed by wildfires on Christmas Day.

Wow love Mikey Chen and just started really enjoying Uncle Roger. Makes me sad to think of the pressure Nigel must have been under to do this!
Here are the facts: 1. Uncle Roger & Mike Chen did a collab video on dumplings, nothing else. There was no mention of politics or China in the video. 2. Uncle Roger got comments apparently from Chinese fans and he decided to take down the video, and without even talking to Mike and letting him know the reason for his action. Uncle Roger even went and unfriend Mike Chen on various social media channels, and has not contacted MIke at all since taking the video off. 3. Uncle Roger sent out a message apologising to his China-based fans (he'd just started in the China market) saying he'd been unaware of Mike's "incorrect" political views and asking for another chance, saying he would improve going forward. 4. Falun Gong may or may not be a cult, but is it evil? I don't think so. One million and more people are in prison in China simply because they are Muslims, Christians and Falun Gong. Many of these people lose organs as they are harvested. Mike only mentions these facts in passing in his TH-cam videos but mainly Instagram or Twitter, as his primary focus on YT is on food and travel. 5. They both are nice guys and seemed to get along in the collab video nor did they talk at all about politics, so there is no need to take down the video. Mike was very nice to Uncle Roger even though Mike is the more senior and established TH-camr.. Why this was bad is because it is like, for example, Uncle Roger removing a video with a BLM guest simply to avoid displeasing the KKK and then apologising to the KKK... Or for the Chinese out there, another way to look at it is if Uncle Roger had done a food collab video with a Chinese person who turned out to be a critic of Japanese actions during WW II, and Uncle Roger removed the video and apologised to his Japanese fans saying the other person's views on Japan were incorrect.

what?!!? So why were there comments about politics in the first place on a video about dumpling? Somethings no adding up.
@@aaronsun4746 There were NO politics discussed in the original collab video by Mike Chen and Uncle Roger aka Nigel Ng. I've watched it and all they did was critique dumplings and it was funny and fun. But it was apparently some people from China who informed Nigel about Mike's activism and criticism of the CCP (not the Chinese people, but the government) which probably made Nigel concerned about his future career breaking into the Chinese market, hence Nigel's apology to his China fans for "his mistake" and asking for another chance from the China fans. While maybe a few China fans did mention about Mike Chen, the rest were just confused because he was addressing them about something they knew nothing about because the video had been taken down before most could even see it. What annoyed non-China fans was Nigel's apology to only China -based fan but no explanation to other fans and his silent treatment of Mike Chen (see my comment above).
