Then, after rejection, the USSR needed safety in some way, so they signed a non-aggression pact. Unfortunately the Western allies somehow lost despite an incredibly advantageous position before the USSR was invaded. This was the western allies ploy all along - to destroy the USSR by getting the Nazis to invade them. And it unfortunately worked.

There was no defense attorney. He didn't bring up the concern. The judge did. He didn't point out that the Judge made exactly the error he'd described, another juror did. You've proven the point quite well. And you've got it quite backwards. When you go to jail because someone like you misremembered and someone like you dismisses the errors of memory... that's the miscarriage of justice. I can't unsubscribe, but I can (And now will) block.

You are proving Neil's point. He didn't bring this up The judge did. More info for people the don't know the context the case was a he said she said, with one witness and the defendant. The judge questions the jury candidates if any one would have difficulty convicting with just this info. Neil : "I would have a problem if the only evidence is eye witness testimony." Judge: "Any other jurors that would need more than one witness, like juror #14 here, to convict?" At this point Neil says he wanted to bring up the fact that the judge got what he just said wrong, thus proving his point but didn't, i guess not to disrupt the proceedings. However another potential juror noticed and brought it up.
