    Poor written apps could lead to data breaches which could cause severe consequences, like law suit and heavy penalties for Business, shattering users confidence and damaging well established reputation of the Business.

    Introduce a Shift Left paradigm when it comes to Security. Like Sec should be included right at requirements gathering phase. With SaaS architects and developers think, the underlying Cloud Infrastructure is secure and they need nothing to do. Developers should be educated about different Sec patterns to avoid common pitfalls and hence reducing attack vector. They should take good Sec hygiene while designing and implementinb software. Cost and scope of project definitely matters. One should not invest in Sec for low value and short lived projects. But for high stake apps Security shoud be shifted left always. It helps reduce cost and make your app safe and secure which builds user trust and hence a major Business driving factor.

    Really insightful discussion! I loved the way you explained the product. I have a couple of questions. 1- What are the key factors to keep in mind while naming the product? 2- How someone who is not experienced in the product would identify their users?

    • @muhammadsaad4373
      @muhammadsaad4373 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for your lovely feedback Adnan! As far as your questions are concerned, I'd like to answer the 2nd one first: If you've identified the problem you're trying to solve which is the essential first step to any product, it makes it very easy for you to identify and find your users. You just have to find out who are the people having these problems. Using search engines like Google, keywords tools like Semrush, etc and going through social media would help you practically find your users. As far as naming the product goes, there are no fixed rules. It should be a simple, easy-to-pronounce/understand name that relates to the problem you're trying to solve and relates to the customers who you're solving it for.

    very helpful, thanks for sharing. As Sajjad Khan mentioned, if we lock the MVP and then, during the processes, we or the client become inspired to add a new feature that could distract us and delay the release, how should we handle that?

    • @xajukan
      @xajukan 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @shkeelafridi1368 it's quite a common scenerio and it frustrates us when client are delaying going to user, the best way I'd handle such scenario is to educate the client, give them relevant case studies to make this point that going to the user (running the experiment ) is important at this stage. You can even suggest them to run a survey or something to get the user opinion rather than going with what's hot out there. From the delivery perspective sometime it's also important to educate client how a well defined scope can help you with smooth deliveries. If you have a iterative process, do let them know about this as most of the time clients are not aware about how the future releases will go, what this does is give them confidence that whatever they are are inspired from can go in next iterations. I leave the rest to the expert @saad :)
