Is there a specific reason trailer brakes are the drum brakes and not disk brakes? I’d always thought drum brakes were less efficient in terms of stopping power but I’ve also never seen a shoe that wide lol Edit: seen that drum brakes are typically more durable than disk, the wider contact patch makes it last longer, and supposedly the stopping power is better too because of the design it allows for more stopping power without pressing more on the pedal if that makes any sense

Not a good idea actually. Weight is going to be the biggest restriction. The solar panels are one thing but that refrigeration needs to work at night too which means batteries which adds weight which means a reduction in the load being hauled which adds more trucks to the road to cover the difference which in turn has an opposing effect on the overall goal.
