I was able to complete the Fell Xenologue on Maddening.On Chapter 5, my unit choices, emblem ring choices, skills, etc. will be included in this comment for Azure Knight's review in addition to his viewers who might be struggling with this map on the Maddening difficulty. My units were Veyle (Soren) with Magic + 4 and Hold out, Kagetsu (Eirika) with Speedtaker and Strength + 4 (He was the MVP being able to one round most of this map with Eirika's engage weapon, Siegelinde), Panette (Ike) with Axe Power 2, Alycryst (Lyn) - didn't have any skills on him but would recommend Lunar Brace + and strength boosting skill or Draconic Hex, Mauvier (Micaiah), Framme (Lucina) they were just heal bots with staff mastery skills in order to heal hp with physic, Fortify, Mend, Recover, etc. Seadall (Camilla) with Hold out and Canter, Zelkov (Corrin) with Lunar Brace + and Avoid +20, Louis (Hector) with Strength/Defense + 3 and Lifesphere, Ivy (Celica) with Draconic Hex and Divine Pulse +, and Nel (Tiki). Veyle, Kagetsu, and Panette were my main damage units. Mauvier, Framme, and sometimes Ivy were my heal bots for Alear and Nel. I warped Ivy with warp ragnarok to the room with Nel once the mage cannoneers spawned and was able to neutralize them after hitting them with bolting from Veyle in another room. I do not believe this is RNG at all. You just need to have a quick answer to those mage cannons. I killed Hortensia after debuffing her with draconic hex with Zelkov and destroyed her health bars with Panette being able to ohko post debuff. On Chapter 6, I used Alear (Chrom), Panette (Edelgard), Zelestia (Marth), Nel (Tiki), Mauvier (Veronica), Seadall (Camilla), Saphir (Byleth), Ivy (Celica), Zelkov (Corrin), Veyle (Soren), Jean (Micaiah), Madeline (Ike) and Gregory (Roy). This map is very difficult. I elected to beat this map in one turn as it gets absurd when the battle drags on and Nil absorbs the corrupted royals, destroys sigils, and potentially obtains broken abilities such as Sandstorm, Grasping Void, Luna, and Sol and more health bars. My setup involved augmenting Amyr (Edelgard's engage weapon - Smash battle axe) and using Axe Power 5 and Reprisal+ on Panette, debuffing Nil with Zelkov via Draconic Hex, attacking with a fire tome with Veyle (Soren) to trigger anima focus for a -3 debuff on defense. I then used Rally+ on Alear to buff the stats of my allies most notably, Panette and then I attacked with Panette using Amyr with Poison Gambit. I danced on Panette with Seadall and cantered one space away and then attacked with Poison Gambit/Amyr again. Then, I had Mauvier engage with Veronica and used Contract in order to enable Panette to attack again. Panette had to be healed so, I engaged Jean with Micaiah and had him fully heal Panette with Physic. Panette used Raging Storm for Nil's first health bar and then attacked again using Poison Gambit/Amyr after Raging Storm enabled her to attack again. Then, I had Saphir use Goddess Dance in order to enable Panette, Seadall and Mauvier to be able to move again. Now, Panette had to be healed again, so I used physic with Gregory and moved Zelestia/Marth next to Nel (Tiki) and had Nel use Divine Blessing+ on Panette for one last heal and an extra health bar and then Panette attacked with Amyr again and got danced on by Seadall and finished off Nil with one final attack with Amyr ending my career of playing Fire Emblem Engage and enabling me to retire from this broken/unbalanced DLC for the rest of my life. I can now rest knowing that I have beaten Fire Emblem Engage's Fell Xenologue on the Maddening difficulty.

One thing i loved about this games is how i got into it thinking it was gonna be an easy walk holy shit was i wrong the game really wants you to take advantage of the mechanics and that is the thing that hooked me especially with all the skills the emblems give to not only Alear but everybody that alone made the game addicting to me
