it was the steam version but I think any version of the doom2.wad will work as long as you have it that file it should work. I could be wrong.

odd not sure why it's not working for you, I have other people use gzdoom with this and have no issue

the Doom2.wad file a quick google search should point you in the right direction on where to get it from.

it's okay, you can get it from gog or steam Doom 2 the actual game itself, both games atm should be on sale pretty cheap, it's the actual file Doom2.wad though that you are after if you do go down that route

sorry no idea maybe check on the moddb page and ask there to see what that error is and see if there a way around it, I know they haven't updated it in three years

@@StarblindHouse I found out from the nexusmods page that the reshade is not working so you have to select no reshade to fix the 12002 error. The server they host the reshade on is down apparently. I continued and it finished but still didnt work, it did nothing. Checking with them to see what they say

okay well hopefully all goes smoothly for you in the end once you figure out what not working.

do you move the items while the game is on? if so that could be the issue, if not might need admin right to the folder sometimes mine will do that randomly and if you do have admin right try moving it than right clicking in the folder and hitting refresh seeing if that helps
