It seemed as though you didn't let the vac+seal button finish its job but you hit the seal button before the vac/seal stopped on its own - was that to stop a full vacuum? I was wondering whether things with a high water content can't be fully vacuumed e.g. cucumber?

How could you say such horrid slanders about cast iron? Cast iron is the beloved holy grail of cookware; it won't rust, it's very low stick and easy to clean if you're using it properly. I understand that you're promoting your product, but I feel that slandering cast iron is one of those things that's off limits. It's like robbing an orphanage or a school for the blind; there are some lines you just don't cross. And cast iron won't cost you hundreds of dollars either. You can spend a lot, but it's not necessary. You can buy Lodge skillets for $15-$40 and enameled dutch ovens for $50-$90 depending on the size.

This products SUCKS at vacuuming. Seals pretty good. I bought one/got one free - was going to give as a gift and glad I didn't. First one, latch broke shortly after I began using it. Second one, no better. I'm using it until I got another for sealing only. A big waste of money.

How do you put the bag side-by-side?

The pow XL duo is crap is made in China and you can tell. I purchased it in October of 2022. February of 2023 it would completely out no light no nothing. They replaced it set me one I had to cut the cord on the one I had and they sent me a new one. Fast forward to November of 2023. I Don't use the product that much I tried to use it in November. The first button that vacuum and seal didn't work. So I hit the vacuum button and then hit the silhouette real quick and that did work. A day ago I tried to seal and vacuum something and it did not work. The vacuum wouldn't work at all but it did still. Today I call power XL customer service. And they refuse to replace my item or give me my money back cause that's what I won't. They said because I purchased the item in October of 2022 mowarranty is out. Even though I got a new product in February of last year. They say I only have a 6 month warranty on a replaced item. So from February last year 6 months is July I didn't even get a whole year for the product I purchased originally. Which should have been in October. So I'll let you know these mess probably will last not much over a yearaybe not even that long. I got 2 of these items one last for 4 months the other one last for 11month. I purchase one another brand from Walmart for my mother. Hers still work. Do not waste your money on this mess. is made in China and that's what you're going to get.

I just got mine and I'm trying to vacuum seal snack bags of jerky. I wanted to put my jerky in ziploc snake bags then vacuum seal them in the seal bags. I can't get it to vacuum most of the time. They wrinkle and won't stay smooth.

Can you keep this in fridge for a week before you eat it after you seal it

customer service is not very good on this product. But they don't care as long as they have gotten your money first.. It also dosen't seal as good or as fast as they show. i often wonder how many times eric has to redo the sealing process

Eric, the thing I can see is I don’t see how you won’t end up with soggy lettuce if you put high water items like tomatoes, cukes in with your lettuce. And if you put whole slices of cheese in the salad bag like you did in this video. I think you should pull you cheese apart in to put in bag or individually but that would be more expensive so just pull it apart in small pieces. When you mentioned eating from the bag or dumping in the bowl, I was just seeing you trying to get a whole piece of cheese in your mouth. And we need more involved instructions on how to do these multi bag configurations for like you show.. a month of individual day pill packs or where you show all these craft items like beads etc. The Power Duo XL videos are terrible.. like 38 or 48 seconds. These are much better videos and the company needs to do more of these. Thank you.

We tried the power xl but when you push the vacuum seal it will vacuum out all the air but will not seal so we vacuumed it the stopped it & pushed the seal button. It did seal then but I know there is more air in the bag any suggestions on what I should do.

I paid 179.00 for two nutrisealers and neither one of them can close you are suppose to press it to close they knew when they sent them to me that they wouldn't close because they were taped down with tape the freaking nerve of this company to knowing send you out machines that are taped down to keep them closed this takes a hell of a lot of nerve I am sending this junk back for a refund wow the freaking MENDACITY of this company.

I bought one and it's a piece of junk, hardly ever works right. It'll vacuum and won't switch to sealing mode 75% of the time. I got it because I liked the idea of the dual seal, but will be returning it and going back to my Foodsaver.

I like instant pot dual air fryer because of lights in baskets and sync button so both foods come out the same time.

Is it made with Teflon. Heard it causes cancer. Just asking

I bought mine with a warranty, etc and have not received any of the information should I need to return it. I didn't even receive any directions on how to work this thing... I only got the machine. Who do I call to get this information?
