This video is so fucking sick. Bringing all the warriors together! Biggest advice I can give while doing the 17 stacks is UNBIND YOUR JUMP KEYBIND. You can see several of your death clips are you jumping away. The game is old, it will register your old jump position not your end position after you land! Made the difference getting stuck between 12-15 stacks to finally getting to 17.

Yes you can! That's how most people do it. I have another video that's a bit quicker and goes over the basics of finding him and getting the rune.

so i have 17 stacks and the dedication buff but no perma glasses did i do something wrong?
Try relogging. If you toggle hide/show helm it also removes them temporarily until you relog. If that doesn't work it may be an addon that's managing your interface option for hiding the helm, and may be triggering a bug of some sort. But it should show if you relog. Certain helms also obfuscate the shades. If you hide your helm then relog you'll be able to see them with those types of helmets on.

Decided to try again after a while and died on 11 stacks, I agree that his attacks feel like they get faster. On one occasion he de-spawned mid fight and yelled what he usually yells when you lose, except if anything HE lost.. and I kept the stacks lol. Just some extra tips for anyone reading: 1. Always run towards the middle of the platform IMMEDIATLY after he does his aoe as he tends to favour following up with a front cleave a lot. 2. NEVER get greedy and try to finish him when he is low and is also charging his aoe (talking from experience 😂)
The clue that you need 17 stacks is because the glasses have 17 Armor.
before discovering this video, i was dying of cancer. as of today, my cancer is fully cured according to the doctor, a medical miracle but he said he would 'not be surprised' if it was due to this vid. thank you!

Has this been working for you recently? I kept trying to change options for the addon but it seems to revert the changes back to default idk why. Specifically Gearquipper
Unfortunately, no. Blizzard bricked Gearquipper with the Phase 5 update and I've had to figure out new solutions. You can't use Gearquipper anymore--however--you can use Itemrack, and MySlot for your action bars (if you're going wild with them). I basically just reconfigured my sets to not need to change my action bars outside of dual spec except for when I'm tanking. The macro for Itemrack is /run EquipSet("DPS"), where the name of the set is DPS. Just setup your sets in Itemrack and then replace the gearquipper macro with that new macro, and it will just update the macro in OPie.

Somehow did hardmode first try and keep dying afterwards. Is there an easier way to tab target the adds? Sometimes it just doesn't let me. Is there a macro to target nearest Astral wraith? Edit: Kept dying to the wraths and you don't lose your stack if you die to them. Khonsu's mechanics are easier to dodge I find. Edit 2: The knockback mechanic is VERY inconsistent. I have stood on the spots with flames and not been knocked back, so I think they are fine to stand on. However there have been times when I've stood on the edge and still get knocked off despite being as near to the edge as possible. I've even had moments where I've definitely been too slow, barely make it to the edge and somehow don't get knocked off lol.
it's tough, but i found the best way was to just spam tab while hitting my rotation. Sometimes it doesn't go off right away, but it usually does. Kind of like when I say not to stick around at them when your swing timer doesn't line up--if you get a messed up targeting situation where tab isn't working for you, just move on to the next mob and keep trying, rotating around the boss. Sometimes it takes a couple rotations.
would be nice if the glases also shield from shadowflame or at least give like +50 fr

Thanks for the kind words! That's Bonereaver's Edge which has the black glow effect naturally. It looks way more intense on the login screen. I think most of those effects seem to be more visible on my login screen.

Hot Take, the men in shades are actually bronze/infinite dragons trying to contain the time breach in sod. Because it seems like the runes were xalataths doing (maybe) and this timeline has been breached and will eventually be shut down due to xalatath meddling. That is how they will explain the season ending and new seasons. Maybe we become time streamers helping with containing different timelines (seasons)

I found it better to run fury, sunder , pop death wish and reck if it’s off CD, and just burn the boss. Ignore adds during add phase and he dies right there. You don’t go into a second cleave and thunder clap phase :) less likely to make a mistake or get hit by a haste !

Got my glasses day three running Fury with Enraged Regen/Victory Rush. 6/6 T1 DW ~BiS. Flask of Titans + Mongoose + Giants + Swiftness pots for consumes. Raging Blow + instant slams are huge fillers on adds for Fury and like you said 3x death WWs on the adds is a must. Keep a stack of Swiftness Potions on yourself for the de-sync/bugged instant cast on the mechanics. Like he said - especially post ~9 stacks. Unboon run 17 for the glory and to drop him during first add phase. Then you win - Shades for Days.
Fun challenge only annoying part was after the thunder clap if you have the cleave towards you

No reason to kill the adds on the side. If you just use a flask of the titans you never really have to worry about your hp. You just run in circles while attacking the boss and dodge the starfalls.

Man, I want you to know I was instantly in tears of delight and began downloading it to preserve it on my own hd before I was even 10% through the video. You hit EVERY note! This was very heartwarming to watch and I'm in absolute awe that you put it together with so many references and links in such a short amount of time. The past ~9 months I poured everything I had into the P4 warrior discoveries and miscellaneous content that I've been absolutely crestfallen to have not gotten the job after all is said and done. Thank you for giving me the chance to give back. Thanks for making this and sharing the good times you've had with the content. You are doing the lords work. 10/10 soundtrack btw - xavastrasz <Premonition> PS - Some tips: don't move back in immediately after Thunder Stomp, it lasts for half a second (500ms), meaning you will be knocked off if you move back in as soon as the cast bar finishes. Any corner is fine. The fast cast scenarios (where some abilities cast without any delay/faster than usual) aren't intentional but are a natural side effect of Warcraft default creature behavior for spells on their record. As you learned, it's tuned around being possible even if every cast is fast, so it keeps you on your toes and out of your comfort zone.
I'm assuming you're the developer that put this all together based on your post? As I got towards the end of this video, I had wanted to do an analysis on Sunglasses in Media and touching on simulation vs. reality, referencing They Live, The Matrix, Ready Player One, The Lawnmower Man, the quote on the Secret Agents that references MGS2 as well as the Raiden vs. Ariden anagram and what that could all mean. I haven't spent a lot of time exploring in-game on the rest of the discoveries, but I've read what others have done and have done my own ruminating! It's been a nice mind vacation to think about all of the ways that we use Sunglasses in Media to reveal truth, or "take the red-pill." Who knows, if creativity permits I might make a video on that! @@Themetabreaker Sounds like a great topic for a meta breaker! I did make it all. Those other games and stories were often my background ambience / media on other monitors while working on it. Maybe it wasn't the most grounded in existing Azeroth lore, but the hope was the overall product would be fun and memorable.

Thank you so much for making this! There is a small community of us one Secret finding discord who has been looking into this for weeks trying to figure out where to go next with the secret. The tie in to the agents was perfect and the story line you created with the runes and the agents and the tie into wow original lore was done so well. We are beyond disappointed that we do not get to see where this would have ended up!
