According to scientific research, the mechanisms underlying language learning during sleep involve the brain consolidating new information and transferring it to long-term memory. A study conducted by Dr. Björn Rasch and his team in 2012 demonstrated the positive effects of sleep learning, particularly on vocabulary acquisition. The study found that participants who learned words during sleep had better recall (Rasch, B., Büchel, C., Gais, S., & Born, J. (2007). "Odor cues during slow-wave sleep prompt declarative memory consolidation." Science, 315(5817), 1426-1429).
During sleep, the brain continues to process and store the information we learn throughout the day. Therefore, listening to language learning materials before sleep helps you learn new words and grammar structures more effectively. These repetitions before and during sleep aid in transferring information to long-term memory, thus speeding up and reinforcing the language learning process.
Learning Thai in your sleep can be highly effective! Research shows that the brain consolidates new information during slow-wave sleep. By exposing yourself to Thai phrases while you sleep, you can enhance your memory and learning.

So do you mean nobody other than people from Thailand can not learn and speak Thai?

Thanks for the lesson. When ordering food, how can I tell the waiter/waitress that I want regular or large size? Thanks again 😃🙏
Thank you for your comment! When ordering food in Thai, you can specify the portion size as follows: For a regular size, you can say ธรรมดา (tham-ma-da), which means "normal" or "regular". For a large size, you can say พิเศษ (phée-sàyt), which means "special" or "large". For example, if you're ordering Pad Thai, you can say: Regular size: ผัดไทย ธรรมดา (Phat Thai tham-ma-da) Large size: ผัดไทย พิเศษ (Phat Thai phée-sàyt) I hope this helps! Enjoy your meal! 😊

Computer generated voice overs. Computer generated woman in shorts 😢 Why even go the effort? Your English voiceover is way more advanced than the Thai one. Maybe go shopping for a better one. Or find a real Thai with knowledge instead of using AI prompting.

Another clear, well explained, video. Personally, I am having trouble with saying "mai" tonal variations (not very convincing lol) jub jub.
Thank you for your comment! The tonal variations of 'mai' can be tricky. I plan to make more videos to help with this. Stay tuned!
I just wish more long term foreigners and more so the expats here in Thailand made a effort to learn at least the most basic Thai. Taught myself years ago and would not have lasted a year without being able to do things by myself. The majority of expats are miserable here you can see it in their faces because they can,t even count to five in Thai.
Good episode, no criticism, not even constructive. 👍👍😁😁
Having someone like you who consistently supports me is such a privilege! Your comments and feedback are incredibly valuable to me. As always, I deeply appreciate your support and encouragement. Thank you!🙏

Just some constructive criticism นะครับ. After 21 episodes, everyone should know by now that females use ฉัน/ค่ะ and males use ผม/ครับ. ใช่ไหมนะครับ? 🙄
You've pointed out a very valid point again. Actually, to avoid boring you and to avoid being repetitive, I do not mention the correct structure in every sentence, but it would be best if I emphasize the importance of using ฉัน/ค่ะ for women and ผม/ครับ for men at least once in every video. Another great comment from you, ERIC, thank you very much for your contributions. ขอบคุณค่ะ🙏
