I will get any camera to work in some way, shape, or form. All the better if I can get video off of it so that you and I can both feel the pain of seeing an image the size of a postage stamp, and audio that sounds like you're in a washing machine.
Also I make photographic prints with coffee.

What a dumb video.
I actually had some results from disc film it takes awhile but film rescue international develops it. 110 is available from lomography and there are a lot of interesting cameras that use it I have one that's a gi joe
The Nikon looks phenomenal in the second set of pics; the colors remind me so much of Fuji slide film!
My first camera was a 126 camera. The next one was a Kodak disc. However, after that I went strictly SLR; film and digital.
thought i was watching a dankpods video for a sec, i like the format 👍
110 is still available though. 110 absolutely didn’t fail, it’s still going.
My local thrift store is a graveyard of these things
You can still get 110 film and a new 110 film camera just came out this year 3 or 4 different models. The original was super popular!!! They sold millions! I had the Kodak disc film camera as a kid. It took me across the east from Florida to Canada. I loved it and was sad when it disappeared.
I had a 110 camera like that as a kid and it was awesome!
dankpods for photography lol keep it up
look on lomography for some 110, not great, but it was never great.
The 110 format was actually quite successful in terms of popularity with consumers because it allowed cameras to be easy to use, small and pocketable. Some 110 cameras had zone focus and were able to take decent photos. I still have pictures from early 1980s taken by 110 cameras.
i saw the f60 on there and was ready to rant
Lomography still sell 110! They have quite a few variants even. Just be careful with the speed tabs. The ISO for fast and slow can be pretty different for different cameras and you might end up wildly over or under exposed because of it
I'll certainly have to look into that! (Also probably should have checked that before hand lol)
@@DeclanDoesCameraThings I didn't know about it either until a month or so ago when I saw a Pentax Auto 110 pop up for sale and thought it was just the cutest thing ever 😄 I can even get 110 in one of my local photo stores but they want €40 to develop each roll so I have 3D printed a bunch of stuff so I can do it all myself 😁
@@axelbostrom3606 that’s awesome! I think I also saw that camera (or similar) when I was looking on eBay for the film. Don’t know how much my store wants for developing 🫣
Lomography still sells 110 film in both regular color neg and in their experimental films if you ever wanna try out that first camera
there you go! I was about to write the same
@@hangmann89 Same here
Neat trick with the old video camera effect
you can never double expose dispo camera's as you are winding the film back in the canister. The shutter is primed by the film moving through the body and turning a cog, making it only possible to shoot if you have moved your previous frame back into the canister.
Nice vid, subscribed! ❤
3:46 oh god it's the bean
Have you ever tried Ilford positive photo paper? Looks like fun stuff and it doesn’t seem too hard to develop
@@KyleCrocodile I haven’t yet, but I have some cameras that would be perfect for!
For the 4-lens-camera give Lomography ActionSampler a lookup. I believe it’s common for disposable cameras to have the film out of the cartridge and then wound in while shooting the film, so the counter backwards makes some sense. Personally I wouldn’t shoot with it tho and just save the developing cost for some pictures from a better camera.
Wow... That scientific equipment set thing was terrible 😶😂
Ah yes, more high quality thrift store goods!
I love terrible film cameras! Looking forward to seeing the other two!
Yooo! Awesome seeing you here! I like the profile pic!
Two awesome small channels!
@@DeclanDoesCameraThingsThanks!
What did you pay for it? I just recently bought a cheap reusable “disposable” camera for 1€ at a local flea market. At first I just wanted the viewfinder, but I’m currently trying to use it as a complicated half frame camera.
HOLY CRAP I just read this now, and i was just about to start designing a 3d part to make mine a half frame!!!! (spoilers, ahh) anyway it was $4.
Well, with these film prices, shooting half frame seems to be a popular idea (Pentax 17, Kodak H35 etc.). I went the black electrical tape route for the “conversion”, put some in the viewfinder as well. If everything works (frame spacing and loading the roll at a different point), I might design a part as well. Best of luck to you and don’t forget to show the results, even if it’s not perfect
its just noise if apple would want to fake something like that they would do it much better than this not mentioning you took max exposure photo and then artificially boosted the brightness in edit so what would you expect from a sensor that small in this conditions
also i did this with my 12pro that i laid flat on my mouse pad and in pitch black photo it almost got outlines of the fabric that my mouse pad is made of so its trying very much to get details when there is close to non details
@@castiusz8177 the thing is, is that the stars were visible before editing, we just boosted it afterwards to make it easier for my 12 year old camera to see. If you’re interested, next week’s video will go over the comments.
Those are hot pixels, not "fake stars"
@@odebient I’m just about to record a video about why I think they aren’t.
my 15 pro max dont have this. recently they updated a problem with long exposure that was having problems. did you tried other iphone from same line probably dont happens
@@leonardojose5571 I don’t really have many phones to test this on and it doesn’t even work with mine (it was a friend’s) so I really don’t have an answer right now.
@@DeclanDoesCameraThings something that I notice on my is that if I’m doing a macro shot, above 10 second actually the camera shows the lidar on the photo with the dots for focus tracking if I’m too close but I guess that’s damage in the sensor of your friend camera! (Just subscribed to your channel, randomly the TH-cam recommended) 😅
@@leonardojose5571 interesting, I wouldn’t have thought of that. Thank you btw!
Looks like whatever video camera you are using is doing it too and it’s called noise BRUH
If you _actually_ want to take some time to look into this, my next video will answer lots of these comments
I have the iphone 15 pro max and it happens with my phone. Also loads in the extra ones as I zoom in. And yes its liek thousands of em…
I do see false stars, only with night mode (long exposure) since 12 pro, I'm using 15 pro now.. same. still better than fake moon on samsung's AHUAEHuaEHu Br
@@opdd122 Absolutely! I can’t believe Samsung did that!!!!
Those familiar with astrophotography might recognize that noise pattern - usually when the sensor starts heating (from prolongued exposures) it starts to show this specific type of noise, blue and red spots.
@@duartecastro623 Ooh that might be the best theory yet!
it just like Samsung s23 with the moon pic, it edit any picture of circle light to a moon pic when zoom into it
@@osamaessab3696 yea, I remember that!
I think that was debunked in a day or so
Just tried this with my 15 pro max. It is just NOISE. I do NOT think there is any fake stuff here.
I don't know man, It might be only the newest update, you might have had the flash on or something I DON'T KNOW It doesn't even happen to MY PHONE it only happened to two of my friend's phones.
hmm! weird my iphone 15 pro max isnt doing this?
I really don't know, @kevaughnnash got it to work somewhat, but other people can't so I DON'T KNOW.
To me it seems like it could be dead pixels that are misinterpreted by the algorithm. I got an older generation iPhone (so I tried it out by laying it flat on a black surface) and there were two dots as well a red and a blue dot. I don’t think it’s color noise like somebody else in the comments suggested because on my phone it just appeared in two places (in the video it could be a combination of noise and dead pixels) and I also don’t think the phone does the same thing like Samsung with adding details.
@@buraneins I think that depending on how old the phone is, it very well could just be dead pixels; however, I don’t think the 15’s sensor is old enough to have them. misinterpretation seems to be the best theory so far though.
Tried it on my 15 pro in a dark room, it's just pitch black and when I turn up the brightness nothing changes.
@@trioot did you update recently? Idk it might only be some phones or it might be only the pro maxes.
@@DeclanDoesCameraThings Yeah, I've got IOS 18 public beta 3
@@trioot weird… and you did a long exposure with the flash off?
@@DeclanDoesCameraThings Yes, in a pitch black room
@@trioot hmm… hhmhmmmhmm…… I have no idea man, I can only assume that it just doesn’t work for all phones.
Might be dust within the lens itself at manufacturing, got past quality control and yeah.
I do have some cameras like that, but like… Apple??
I think the people not getting it are failing to turn the brightness up. I just covered the lenses with my leg in a dark room, and there's probably 30-40 purple dots that look like stars. I wouldn't be surprised if this is an attempt by Apple to "boost" astro photography features for the next iPhone or something. The photos will look incredible and crazy. And they will be totally fake. And people will spend a ridiculous amount of time trying to overlay them against real star maps, and Apple fanboys will go nuts claiming they're all real stars and Apple's cameras are just better than actual astro photography cameras and telescopes.
@@richy2258 THANK YOU finally someone else is getting this.
It just doesn't happen. If I put the photos into photoshop and crank the exposure up as much as I can, there's nothing. The photo is just pitch black. I could link the photos, but TH-cam doesn't want me to post imgur links, the comments never come through.
I don't know, even within the comments, some people got it and some didn't so IDK. For me, I downloaded the photo _which had stars when viewed in the phone_ but when I put it into photoshop, I had a very hard time getting anything to show up.
I tried it and just got pitch black photo.
@@vishalbelwal is it a 15 pro?
Honestly, that's just noise with the exposure turned all the way up. There's no false enhancement here.
This is a bunch of bullshit. There's always stars in the sky so the fact that she said even if they were stars makes me question her IQ.
